Well, the "fix" did not work and I ended up returning the display to the shop. They tried for 6 weeks to fix it but to no avail. The only person who has a clue at this place is the owner. If you talk to anyone else they have zero authority and zero brains. On more than one occasion I had to talk to the other employee and he said he would have "the boss" call me back. Never got a single phone call from the owner. When I finally went to pick up the display and get a refund like the owner promised, the owner was away. The employee wasn't empowered to provide the promised refund, so I left the display with them. I asked him to call the owner and he said the owner didn't have a cell phone which was total BS. Seriously, I do understand why they couldn't fix the display, but their customer service is some of the worst I've ever seen. I would never go back to this place. Unfortunately, I thought this place was OK because of its high rating on Angie's List. Apparently, I was wrong.

Overall he was actually early he went right to the job he went right to the equipment and identified the problem right he did a good job. It was quick and he was nice.

My 2001 27" Sony Trinitron TV went dead a few days ago, with no picture or sound, nothing but a blinking red light on the front. I found A M on Angie's List, and called. On the phone, they said it would probably cost $100 - $120 to fix, and to bring it in for a free estimate. I took it up there today, and by the time I got home there was a message waiting for me. The power supply had blown out, taking several circuit board components with it, and it would cost $110 plus tax to fix. Furthermore, because they had all the needed components on site, and they had no high-priority jobs, and the TV was already open, they were willing to fix it right then and there. I gave the go-ahead. It landed up being exactly 2 hours from the time I dropped it off to the time I picked it up. Wow! He said that he's fixed a lot of this particular issue for that era of Sony, and that with these fixes, the TV should last a good many more years. I'm very, very happy with this shop.

They were very good. They were very responsive and punctual. When they said it would be ready, it was ready. So far it has worked fine. We are happy with them. And their prices are reasonable; I called around to compare with a few other places.

THE CAMCORDER WAS REPAIRED AND WORKS LIKE BRAND NEW. THE BILL MATCHED THE ESTIMATE, WHICH WAS QUITE REASONABLE, AND IT WAS DONE ON TIME. THEY ALSO SELL SECOND-HAND VIDEO ELECTRONICS WHICH LOOK LIKE GOOD BUYS.
