SEPTIC TECHNOLOGY INC

I called Septic Technology (ST) at the recommendation of a septic pumper highly rated on AL. I had just replaced my septic pump (done by another company) and the alarm was still going off due to flooding in the tank. The president of ST, Tim Baumann, came out and spent several hours with me looking at the situation and listening to the history. He offered several possible explanations, and then submitted a proposal for diagnostic work and some repairs and adjustments to the system so that it would work better. He came out with his technician and they spent the better part of a day performing various tests on the system. The tech came back alone to do the installation of the pump system repairs (new discharge assembly, float tree, check valve, etc.). Tim called several times to check on the system performance (including over the weekend, which was really beyond the call of duty!). Tim offered very thorough explanations of the possible problems and solutions, and shared a lot of information on septic design, hydraulics, and construction. He answered all my questions thoroughly, and made some suggestions about how to fix the problem as economically as possible. The bottom line was that the tank was damaged and will have to be replaced. Overall, I was very impressed with ST and would recommend them without reservation.
