We never received any quote from Trevor or anybody at Plateau Remodel. We followed up several times via email and phone to no avail. It's very disappointing.

What a great company, wonderful management & terrific guys to work with! Although I did find on our project, management was not always present so we had to be "on top of" the project deliverables more than expected. But, in our project history this is common, so it didn't phase us too much. We locked on design, timelines & materials right away, but Trevor/Mike/John were so fluid with the project as it progressed that we as customers found it awesome!! Even during times when my husband decided he wanted to add this or that, or something needed to move, the Mgmt Team was always very flexible & quick to accommodate all of our asks! If there was a decision to be made, they visually showed me options and kept the project on track. We literally got the results of our dreams! Everyone was so friendly & hardworking. We went over timeline & budget but that is only because of the snags & change orders that my husband & I asked for. The work is exquisite & if there were ANY issues at all, they were quickly addressed. Love the communication & customer focus. Quick response, quick repair including reset of hinge into door frame for proper alignment.

They were really friendly and did exactly what we wanted. We had a really good experience with it and they were very helpful.

I don't know where to begin. They installed a door to the crawl space. The quote was with lock and key and sealed. First, they installed the door so badly you could rock it forward and backwards 1 inch. Second, they did not install the lock. And to rub salt on wound they bill me for an extra $174, on top of $445 for the door. They left all the construction debris on my backyard and front porch. I complained. No body cared. Few weeks later, the door couldn't even close. After 2 months they did come and do some shaving on the door and it closes, but the door still rock forwards and backwards, The door wasn't sealed. The quote was actually the highest - a lot higher of 3 other bids I have. I used them because I wanted to give them a try before I have 2 other major renovation work I have with my other houses. I should have checked with Angie's list first. I didn't. I got burned. I also got a quote from them for heating duct work. The quote was so astronomical I almost fell off my chair. I owned numberous properties since 1984, so I know the ballpark figure. It was more than 3x the price from two highly rated heating companies in Angie's list. Without saying, I use one of them and are so pleased with that company.

The designs they made were excellent. They were very flexible. The work they did was gorgeous.

Very professional approach. Have management infrastructure in place, however, on our project management was not present a lot so we had to be on top of the project more than we expected. This is somewhat typical construction project process in our history anyway so didn't phase us too much. Nice folk. They worked fast and did some scary wall removal without flinching. detail work (finishing) was sort of weak spot but in the end very nice job.

replaced hinges, set the springs to the correct tension, leveled the door.

They did a great job building our patio. It looks great and we really enjoyed using it this summer.

Trevor from Plateau Remodel was responsive, enthusiastic, and had a lot of experience with remodel/addition projects. He spent a lot of time talking to us and helping us understand what would be involved in a remodel of our size and scope. He is our clear 1st choice for doing any work on our house. The only reason we haven't hired him was because we are still deciding whether to make that investment in our house

We have seen some of Plateau Remodel's work, and were impressed. I got the guys out for a quote, on this basis. We have a situation where our laundry is in our basement, and we have no full bath down there, but we do have a bedroom. So we wanted our current laundry made into a bathroom, and our laundry built upstairs in our roof space. I was told this wouldn't be an issue, and they mentioned some figures which I thought were more than reasonable. I mentioned wanting it done in stages so I wouldn't lose my ability to do laundry, which they seemed happy with. As it turns out, when we received the quote, it was JUST a quote for changing the laundry into a bathroom, rather than the vital part - adding the new laundry. Anyone spot the problem with this?? Anyway, I was still pretty keen on them, but worked out that you had to spell out pretty clearly what you wanted and double check that you're on the same page, which I must not have done. As an aside, we were promised the name of a contractor they use to clean moss off the roof and were told they would send the guy to do the job within the week. We didn't hear from them for another month, at which time they asked if we had already got our roof cleaned or if we'd like them to get the guy to call. Again, nothing. This is not cool, nor a good indication of what the actual work phase would be like - I don't want to have to hound remodellers, so we decided this wasn't going to work for us.

The whole job went great! They completed the work in three days and did an excellent job. I am planning on using them again within the next two weeks for additional work. I have worked with one other handyman before and have interviewed others. I can only recommend Plateau Remodel. One note on the "B" grade on "Responsiveness": I found that it was more effective to call the owners on the phone rather than communicate via email. They always answered or called back immediately, but emails were not always answered.

This was a difficult job due to the tank location yet he didn't balk or charge me additional funds. I would highly recommend this company.
