VU'S LANDSCAPING SERVICES

Horrible. Overcharges by 30%+. Work is passable but not great. Terrible customer skills - got angry at me for questioning his prices. Makes up pricing on the spot quoted me 50% more for power washing than quotes i had - this is his pattern. Run as fast as possible away from VU in the opposite direction.

Mr. Vu was kind and willing to do the work needed however he agreed to put color throughout the backyard which he did plant a few azaleas and rhodies but no flowers; nor did he add any smaller plants for added texture. He was willing to relocate any of the trees and bushes but he told me he would have me okay the locations first before he planted them, which he did not. He did keep the timeline as promised and "guaranteed" his work/plants for 1 year, however, I have tried to have him out to look at a sad bush for several weeks with no response. Once he call back after I threatened to change my review and he said he would come out that week but never showed up. Three weeks later I got a hold of him and he said he had been sick. He asked that I contact him after coming back from vacation, which I did, but was still unable to get ahold of him and left several messages. What good is a guarantee if a contractor does not intend to keep it? Mr Vu cannot be trusted with his word. I would warn anyone wants a warranty on the job they are having done not to hire Vu's Landscaping Services.

All work was completed quickly and to our satisfaction. Vu provided great service at a fair price. All beds look great. The plants Vu provided all look healthy. We are very pleased with the results and will use his service again.

Vu's provided a written estimate of the work to be completed after visiting the house, and they returned on the first non-rainy day to do a majority of the landscaping work. They returned again after a few rainy days to install the water fountain feature in the front of the house. They came back to add some more rocks and bark dust upon our request (for some additional charge). The work was beautifully and professionally done, and it was all done amazingly quickly!

We hire Vu about two years ago after seeing a green flier in the Oregonian...took a chance and called him. He came over fairly quickly....walked around, gave us an estimate right there...it was very fair so his teams started the next week. They serviced our fountain, put in new sod, replaced a few shrubs, trimmed all others, blew in a new load of bark...+ general spring clean up. Additionally they have been our weekly yard service since then. They have always been excellent and i would highly recommend them!
