It went ok during construction and deck looked nice when complete. Jerry was good about coming back and tweaking it in a few places. However, one year after installation, and all the stairs are warping and the joints for the handrails are coming apart. We called TimberTech and we aren't covered under their warranty because this product is not supposed to be used on stairs. We called Jerry and he came out and inspected after many phone calls and emails, and said he'd try to get someone to help us fix it, but that individual never showed. My husband is fixing all this himself as we can't wait anymore. We would not use this contractor again. He should have known that this TimberTech product should not be used on stairs. I'm disappointed that one year after spending $21K, our deck/stairs needs so much repair.
