I just moved to Richland from Hermistion and needed to find a local service dealer for my 2003 Acura TL. I just wanted my oil change, but the owner, Jeremy, convinced me I should change the transmission fluid. I couldn't remember when the last change was so I agreed it was a good idea. When I told him I have used Mobile synthetic oil he said he doesn't provide it, because it is crap. I said the Acura dealer who serviced the car in Portland recommended it. He said his was the best and the Mobile oil was a true synthetic. I went to Redline because they were recommended, but I didn't expect to be treated so rudely. I decided to go ahead because of the recommendation, but it turns out I regret that decision. He charged me nearly $15/ qt I could have gotten it fpr nearly half the price. I have no doubt the service was done well and he was prompt, but I will never will use them again. I don't need to be treated so poorly. When I left I politely told the receptionist my thoughts and concerns.
I blame my self for not walking out when I sensed something wrong and for not checking the price when I left the car. That was my fault. I don't expect an arrogant "I know it better than you" attitude. If there are some deficiencies in the oil recommended by the Acura dealership then he should educate the customer.

Completed service, fixed lock and suggested due to age of car that I get a fron charge every Spring rather than replace their system. Another shop might have recommended a new air system so that they could have charged more. I always know that they will be fair.

This review was submitted by my wife who has had good luck in the past. I have submitted another review that tells about my experience. I will not use this firm again.

Next time I visited Redline, I'll be more specific. I just signed on to this list.
