Our house is almost 100 years old. Nothing is square. He did an awesome job. The door looks great. He was referred to us by Frank's Lumber. He picked up the door we picked out and popped it in for us. Next time we need any door work he is on speed dial.

Steve and his wife Barb were the best! Great communicators, very professional, extremely accommodating, informative and the quality of the work is excellent. Steve helped me drive the doors to my buddy's house so I could paint and even met me there to pick them up the day of install. I highly recommend these guys and will certainly use them again!

Steve made a preliminary visit to our house and measured for the new door set to replace the dated double front doors. With that in hand we ordered a new door with leaded glass and sidelights for our home. Steve and his assistant carefully removed the old double doors and storm doors, and then installed the new door and sidelights. His workmanship is top notch and his care and particular attention to detail was very reassuring. We were most fortunate to learn of SMC and are very pleased with his craftsmanship and every aspect of the installation.

I called several other contractors and they all said they were booked up for weeks. I called SMC LLC and explained my situation. Steve's wife said he was on another job but she would have him come by when he was finished. He arrived in a few hours. He took measurements, went off to buy a door and came back and did the work in a couple hours. I would describe the workmanship as excellent. I couldn't be happier with the work and I would definitely hire Steve gain.

Professional, excellent work. Steve came out to measure and order the new door. He came out again when the new door arrived to machine it and install the new locksets. He came back several weeks later to hang the new door after we painted it (saving us money), then came back once more to adjust the new door when the weather change caused it to rub. Great customer service and pride in workmanship.

I've hired many contractors before but rarely I had someone as good as Steve and Barb. Steve and Barb were very knowledgeable about what they do and stayed professional throughout the entire project. All questions were answered in details in a timely manner. They were especially fast in replying to e-mails, which was a huge time saver for me. Steve was the one who did the actual works for me. He was such a nice person and was willing to spend time answering all my questions and educating me just about every door, skylight, and trim problems I had in my house. It was money well spent. I love the new door and trim installed. The aligment also works perfectly. I would definitely like to work with Steve & Barb again in the future.

Steve Morgan is an expert, so he knew exactly what to do. He had to make custom wood fittings so the doors would fit the openings (after removing the cardboard that the other company had stuffed into openings so that the doors would fit). When Steve was finished within the time promised, the doors were hung perfectly, no longer fall off the track, and are exactly what I wanted. I was so happy with his professionalism, knowledge and experience that I asked Steve if he also did other home projects. He doesn't because he truly enjoys doing what he loves best, so take advantage of his expertise with door installation- you won't be disappointed.

Steve did a great job on all accounts, as well as taking the time to answer all my questions and adequately explain what he was doing to leave us with the utmost confidence. Not only did he do a great job, but the personal guarantee that he provides on his workmanship is worth a lot more than that of any corporation, since you can tell that it is truly personal. Steve did a great job. He was referred to us by one of the hardware vendors after we had interviewed several others and not been satisfied. By the time we hired him, I had already decided on the door model we wanted, but he helped us work through the hardware and other issues, and made sure that the door was correctly specified with the store. He also helped us determine the best place to order it from for both price and service, and picked out appropriate trim. The install was painless, and the door looks great. I also was very particular on some of the finish work, and he was happy to make sure that it met my standards. We love our new door, and plan to use Steve again on other door work.

Went great. They were exactly on time for the original quote. They ordered the doors as soon as we agreed to the quote and they installed the doors exactly when promised. The doors were perfect but Steve wasn't happy with the weather stripping kit that came with the door. He made an extra trip to the supplier and had the weather stripping kit replaced which he installed on our door the next day. Excellent work, very professional and very punctual. We would not hesitate to recommend SMC L.L.C.

Steve was great, very knowledgeable and professional. The door was an off size (the house was built in 1939) so had to be custom ordered. He was able to make accommodations to the cracked door frame (instead of replacing it) to save some money. I would strongly recommend this company!!

Steve Morgan was fantastic. He was very professional and provided us with all of the details of his work. His work was top notch and he really took the time to get all of the finer details just right. Every day on the job Steve was hard at work and I have never seen a person work harder than Steve. Each day he made sure to leave our house clean and dust free. He even took the time to make a beautiful niche door to replace our ugly door to the electrical panel. I would highly recommend SMC, LLC to anyone needing doors or trim work Steve is the best.

Excellent service! Exceptional quality work! I can't recommend Steve enough, he was on time, understood the job immediately and then got to work. He quoted a price beforehand and that was the exact price, no hidden costs. The old door and parts were neatly organized which we opted to keep rather than have him haul away. We love the new storm door and it looks just like it was done, professional. My husband hugged me when I saw it so Steve, passing the *hug* onto you!
