After coming home to a flooded laundry and kitchen area, we called Servpro of Renton first thing in the morning.  Max and his crew got on it right away.  Ceiling, insulation, walls, trim, vinyl and wood floors.  They were experts in their careful assessment, demolition of the damaged areas, and drying out the water damaged areas from top to bottom.  I was pleasantly surprised that when I went so far as to check the crawl space under the house, Max had removed all the saturated insulation and left no mess at all!  The dust barriers were a big help as well.  And Mikie, great job too!
The follow-ups were always on time and crews were courteous and appeared to enjoy their work.  How many places can you say that about!?
It's not pleasant when you have a water line break in your home.  But everyone on the crew were so knowledgeable and personable that you feel like taking them all to lunch for a job well done.

They were so helpful and delightful.  Didn't charge extra for the boxes.  All employees were genuinely happy and helpful; just wonderful people.  I feel they must've been under really good management.  Every one had a skip in their walk and a happy smile.  The management needs to be recognized for how happy their employees are.

Responded in a very short time as work was needed to complete house sale.

06/10/2014 Update - Its about 10 months since the work was done by Servpro in my home and after things have settled I can see the quality of the repair work that was done. The area that was repaired stands out like a sore thumb and is not uniform to the rest of the ceiling. The painting that they did as well as the repair work was below average at best. I am disappointed but what can you do. I plan on making the correct repairs myself this summer.

I cannot give enough credit to ServPro-

We had some communication issues at the start of the project but they came to the table and are making things right. You always know a great vendor when they fix an issue and care about your satisfaction. That is exactly what ServPro is doing for me.

They Demo'd my ceiling to find the source of my leak and are working with me on the repairs. We are scheduled to rap everything up on the week of the 19th and once everything is done, I will update this review.

So far, I cannot say enough about Dale Coleman who is the GM / Owner of Serv Pro. He set out a game plan and expectations clearly and we are working toward completion.

We had a sink overflow in our main bath, but it wasn't caught until it flooded the whole bathroom, and went under the walls into the a joining five rooms.  Luckily, I was able to ShopVac up a lot of the water so those rooms only had a 3-4 feet of damage.  ServePro did a great job with contacting and performing the repairs.  The only thing that didn't get finished was the 'haul away' of the flood debris, i. e. the various wood and vinyl pieces left from the tear out of the damaged stuff.  I'm not sure if was a mis-communication or what.  Over all I'm very happy with the services performed.

.After a three day battle with storm water and sewage overflow into my basement, I called Servepro to clean out my very full basement. Much was unsalvageable and had to be taken to the dump. What was left was packed up in boxes.
The floors had to be cleaned and sanitized and some of the stored furniture required sanitizing, as well. Moisture had been absorbed up to about three feet of the sheet rock walls. The wall board had to be torn out. The elevated basement toilet also had to be torn out along with the floor. A lot of sewage was found under the floor and around it.
Sewage had spread throughout the entire basement. I spent two days before Servepro came, moving what I could upstairs.
There was a concern that sewage had penetrated under the floor of a semi-finished room, but after cutting a hole in the floor, the damage appeared minimal and did not need to be torn out further. However, what was in the room had to be packed out and stored by Servepro.
The rationale for storage was to keep space open for replacement of torn out sheet rock and rebuilding the toilet enclosure. To be honest, I questioned the necessity. Also, the hardwood that was taken from the section cut out of the floor must have been discarded, so I still have a hole in the floor.
Apparently, there are additional costs and I have requested itemization.
The workers who came out were all helpful and kind. They did a good job. My complaint is that in spite of  asking  to be called in the mornings to let me know when they expected to arrive,  they usually didn't, and I often felt like a prisoner in my house. They wouldn't come sometimes when they were expected and did come sometimes when they weren't  expected. A couple of times I had gone out so their time was wasted. I found this to be inefficient. Apparently there has been turn-over in their office and messages didn't get relayed.

This happened during the big rains we had last year in November. My house is about 50 years old and it started to sink. The weight and stuff on top of the sewer finally broke it and it all came back into the house and flooded four rooms in the basement. It was about 4 inches deep. It was in the night and when I called my insurance company they asked me to call ServPro of Renton. They were here in an hour wearing protective suits. We were down in the basement scooping water and clearing the things. They wanted us to go to a doctor immediately and get checked and get a shot if necessary. We did quite a bit without knowing what we were doing.
They and their crew just took over. They were very kind. There was a lot of stuff in the rooms and they just went right to work. They took stuff that did not get contaminated but just hanging in a closet or on a shelf and took it to clean it and brought back the things absolutely steamed and clean and they store it for as long as you want. They were just as sweet as they could be and I feel they are the nicest people in the world. I just can't say enough of their services.
I would say that if anyone had any trouble with any kind of flooding they need to call ServPro immediately and they will be there as fast as they get there. They are just wonderful. 'A' all the way for ServPro.

My sewer backed up into my finished basement on November 1. They came out immediately, assessed the damage and gave me a plan for clean-up. They were professional and knowledgeable. I was in a panic over the mess and damage and felt so much better after going over the plan. We had cleaned up the water with a wet vac and cut out the wet carpet and pad before they arrived so they started the next day right on time and so very professional. I had no concerns watching them work. They cut out dry wall, removed the damaged carpet and sprayed all items that came in contact with the contaminated water. They then installed two large dehumidifiers and five large fans to dry out the area. They came each morning at 9 am on the dot to check the drying out process. After three days the area was dry and they removed the equipment. I was very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of their business. I would highly recommend this company.
