It went very well: MF was meticulous from start to finish, and did a beautiful job to transform my floor from worn out natural fir finish to a beautiful ebony finish that looks far more sophisticated. Master Flooring is my go-to contractor for all hardwood and laminate jobs!

It went GREAT! I first met Master Flooring back in 2011, who was summoned to fix the flooring refinish job poorly done by the previous contractor. They were meticulous from start to finish, took time to let each coat dry, and made sure to wipe clean any dust before applying each new coat. The result was simply beautiful. Naturally, when I need another floor job, Master Flooring becomes my go-to contractor. There are about 450SF of flooring for upper floor, plus 14 steps from main level to upper. Master Flooring picked up materials 2 days before installation, to allow the new to acclimate. On Day 1, they arrived on time with crew of four to do the demo work and haul away the trash. Installation started later on Day 1. What impressed me the most with Mater Flooring were: 1. Cleaning up and taking away trash each day when they leave 2. Timely arrival 3. A process-oriented collaboration between the installer and the painter with the baseboards and door-casings installation and painting, to complete on a more timely manner. 4. Of course, the quality of the finished product 5. INTEGRITY and CUSTOMER SATISFACTION --> I emphasize this because the manufacturer sent me the stair-nose in wrong color, causing color-mismatch. It was special order that took about 10 days to arrive, so I was stressed. But Claudia told me that they would not mind to come back to work on the stairs after they arrive. After thinking it over for a day, I told MF to go ahead and install the noses, Claudia asked me twice: "Are you sure? Once they're in, it would be very expensive to undo and redo. We don't mind to come back for the stairs." I went ahead with the mis-matched stair-nose, turned out fine as if it was intentionally by design, but it's that kind of integrity that once again won me over. Given the construction boom in our region and the amount of work every contractor both good and bad is having, kudos to Master Flooring for prioritizing customer satisfaction than making a quick buck and haste to the next job.
