Groutpro Grout and Tile Restoration

All work was completed very much to our satisfaction. An estimate was provided shortly after our initial call and the job was promptly scheduled.

I would definitely use groutpro again and even recommend them to family and friends. They are fair, honest, professional, and overall great people to work with. They do fast work that looks great in the end and definitely take pride in what they do.

It is a husband and wife team, it used to be bigger; his wife does part of the work and he does some of it. They certainly know what they are doing. I had some questions about some other tiles that I was having trouble with and he took time to look at that; he was helpful. They were great. They came out for an estimate and were here when they said they would be here; one day she got hung up in traffic and fifteen minutes late when someone deals with traffic is understandable. They were very efficient, very neat and tidy, and they did a beautiful job. I thought they were very reasonable for what they did. I would recommend them to anybody that needs shower re-grouted and cleaned up.

Quick, clean and very well done. Don't need to say much more, their work is top notch, they are very professional (and welcome in our home), they knew what they were doing and got it done. We're quite happy! Don't know if the pricing is competitive, but it was worth it.

Another contract had done a major remodel on my home. The tile work was not done well and the grout was becoming spotty and discolored. It looked terrible, especially since we had spent so much money to have it done right. I found Grout Pro on Angies List. Jeff came out and assured me they could fix it. He sent out his team and they carefully cleaned all the tiles in both bathrooms and the kitchen and then stained the grout. I was consulted on the stain color. The process took 2 full days. The team was cheerful and careful. I could hardly believe it when it was done, it looked beautiful. I was so relieved. It's been several months and it looks as good now as the day they did the work. I highly recommend Grout Pro and have since referred them to my friends.

They were excellent! They did everything they said they were going to do. They did it on time, and they did it fast. Do it! They are good! The price was excellent. I would use Groutpro again in a minute.

No problems. They prediced the number of hours and days and we were able to plan around it - including one spare day of drying. No surprises here except for the amount of talent that was required to deal with a tub and enclosure in an old house which had and quot;settledand quot; so measurements were not consistent, meaning that extra grout went in a few places to and quot;square it off.and quot; Lots of talent and expertise here.

They were always on time, even when our power went off after snow and icy rain. They brought a generator for work to be done. Very easy to talk to and answered all questions.

We got a quote done earlier in the year, and when I called to schedule the appointment, they were willing to honor the quote although it had been a few months since. The repair we needed was more extensive than we had anticipated, so we got a new quote for the added repairs and continued the work. The final result was excellent--both in regard to quality and aesthetics. Payment was required at the time the work was completed, at which time I found out that they do not accept VISA, although that is advertised as a payment method on Angie's list. Also, I had to insist on the 10% discount for Angie's list members. Overall, due to the excellent quality of the work, I recommend Grout Pro without reservation.

More punctual in response to call and providing an estimate than other companies I called. They had a different take on what to do that has worked out well. They advised us that it was best to let the shower/tub area be dry and unused for at least a week in order to improve chances that any moisture in the wall would have some chance to dry out. Then they were accomodating about coming out a day after we were away on vacation, which worked nicely. Quick professional job except for a bit more cleaning up than I expected I would need to do myself.

They came out and did their estimate. They were able to come out very quickly and do the work. They charged exactly what they said they would. They did good work.

It went very well, and the end product looks outstanding. Total time and prices were as quoted, and the work was completed in a timely manner.

They were quite good. They were knowledgeable and came when they said they would come. They mostly did a good job. Their price was reasonable.

So far I've had really great experience with them but I can't speak till the end of the job because it is not done. They've done more than we have agreed on. I had asked them to do the shower which looks great and a small area in the kitchen where the coffee pad had been sitting. They did that and it looks better than it did initially and then I had caulked the kitchen sink myself, so they took note of that and cleaned it up and re-caulked the plumbing. It was amazing and so far they've been absolute dreams to work with. I checked on Angie's List and they were very highly rated and so what I did was I contacted 3 different companies, well I contacted more than that initially but I always go for 3 quotes, and they responded very quickly and he came and looked at the shower and gave me a quote on it. Then I had contacted a couple of other companies which I thought were re-grout companies but in fact they were tile installing companies and so they don't do this kind of work but they were very nice when they called me to tell me that. One gave me a recommendation of a company and I contacted them and they send out a tech but they gave him the wrong address and so he was 45 minutes later than he said he would be and of course I needed to go to work but I was waiting for him. He looked at it and said that the owner of the company would be giving me a call soon to give me a quote. I never heard from him until a week later. By that time I had already decided on Groutpro so I told him that. The third company I contacted didn't even want to come out to see it. They would just send their grout tech out and I was asking about the price, and eventually adding it up it would have been almost $1000 so I didn't go with them. That's how I ended up with Groutpro. They were very, very neat and clean. They cleaned everything up but there is still stuff in my shower because she is coming back this morning to finish sealing it. They laid down tarps all along the carpeting and the flooring including the bathroom. They were just really good to work with. It's a nice family owned business. I would definitely recommend them because they are prompt, clean, efficient and they can do pretty nice work from what I can tell. I will know better in a couple of months when it still looks just perfect.

Troy did a really nice job resetting a tile and then regrouting it. He also clear caulked several joints The work all looks good though I won't know how well the tile replacement (to remove movement of tile) really went unless the grout starts to break again and that will take some time if it even happens. The punctuality was bad - he was over thirty minutes late and didn't call until he was twenty minutes late. Apparently the delay was due to not being familiar with Seattle streets. Fortunately I work from home but it still makes it hard to be able to make phone calls and work on projects when you don't know when the interruption is going to come. Please call before you're going to be late, not after, even if it doesn't adjust the time you actually arrive. A word on cleanup (which is what I down-graded the professionalism on, along with the punctuality) For the most part cleanup was great. Troy removed some old caulk and that brought with it lots of little bits of grout into the shower/bath and he cleaned it up beautifully. The tile, not so much, there's a gray film all over the tiles. I get that the grout was still wet, etc but at the very lease, let me know what to expect and when I can clean it and how I should do so. Also, this company is very compartmentalized. One person does one kind of work, one does another and there are separate service call charges for each. So if you have several small jobs but they fall under different peoples' job descriptions, expect that you'll be paying more. For instance, I got a $50 break on the standard service fee because I had less work to be done than what the service fee would cover and because I was willing to schedule when they had another job in the area. When I asked if I could pay the full service fee and have them also seal the grout I was told that someone else does the sealant and therefore if I wanted it done they would have to charge an additional service fee. I understand that everyone has their skill set/job description but some flexibility regarding a task that isn't a craft should be considered. Overall, they did a good job and I'd hire them again.

David was very helpful in the re-tiling of my kitchen. Not only did he help me out with the price, but he was also very helpful in the process. I was needing the tiles re-done because the people who owned the house before me did it very poorly and it was cracking and coming undone. David and his brother didn't just fix the tiles. They also offered me design options that I would have never thought of, at no extra cost at all. I ended up going with a tile pattern and every time I look at it, I am thankful that I chose GroutPro. They had also done a previous job fixing my shower (similar poor workmanship by the remodel job to sell the house by the people before us) and David came out, stayed for 30 minutes explaining and exploring the space during the estimate--clearly demonstrating his mastery on the subject. He then tore out the entire shower, fixing the drainage and tiles inside the shower for a VERY reasonable price. He also did this very quickly with a lot of attention to my household things (barely any dust escaped the bathroom during the entire process!!) Thank you GROUTPRO!!!

I was completely amazed at what this company was able to accomplish in my house. I was sure that the grout in my master shower was a total loss, and would need to be replaced. I was wrong. The tile and grout in my master shower looks brand new, and my only regret is the huge number of hours I wasted trying to clean it myself. (The black mold had begun to take over -- and nothing I tried made any difference at all). They showed up on time, worked hard and exceeded my expectations. The powder room counter top was looking a little the worse for wear, and they made it look completely brand new as well. I would not hesitate to use their services again -- they worked miracles!
