We hold estate/moving sales on premise at your location. We can do consignments. I have a number of freelance workers who have worked with me for years. We are registered with the State of Washington and the Department of Revenue in our state. We offer one free consultation up to one hour. Excellently. They priced everything that was in the house after I moved out. Although they did not sell everything, they sold more than I thought was possible. Afterward, they gave us 60% of the proceeds or more than $4,000.00.

They arranged all of the items beautifully for sale, and priced them appropriately (i.e., high enough to maximize profits, but low enough to entice sales). Their advice about what was likely to happen (what would and probably wouldn't sell) was spot on. What impressed me most is that they were more concerned about my satisfaction than with making a quick buck. I consider the sale to have been a success, and they were the primary reason for that. If I ever need to hold an estate sale again, I will contact them.

"(removed member name), Thank you for the review. We enjoyed working with you both. I did want to respond to the Staff writing down their purchases. I have a very strict policy, that anyone working with me, can not purchase, before those customers waiting in line. They have to have everything documents on their timesheet and what cash register number they were rang up on. They do not get half off, before the public, and must pay the same price as anyone else would coming to the sale. If any client wishes to see what they purchased, it is there to see. I am sorry for any confusion. They do try to put their purchases in secured place until they can pay for them. Thanks again, Becky"

They were just amazing. They had it all organized and set up. After it was over everything that was left over got donated. They cleaned up afterward and it looked better than it had before.

We sold our house faster than we anticipated and needed to have a garage sale to dispose of some furniture and other items. Becky worked with us to find a date on short notice. She and her team were such hard workers and spent a lot of time setting up, organizing, and advertising the sale. Her estimate of the total sales was very close.
There's no way that my husband and I could have done a sale on our own. We're very grateful for Girlfriends Estate Services. Becky also told us about Vision House which is a charity that came in after the sale and took almost everything else. We were happy to donate to such a good cause and they helped us out a great deal.

They brought in tables, unpacked my cabinets, and very artfully and beautifully displayed my goods. It was very organized. They advertised our estate sales on the web, nationally and locally. They serviced the people that came into the sale, took their payment, and packed everything that they purchased with care. The workers were all very friendly and professional. The discount for them was the $1500 and we benefited from the rest of the sale. They cleaned up afterward. I was going through surgery at the time, so I did not have the energy to do the work myself, but we absolutely adored them and the work that they did.

We interviewed and "mystery shopped" many other estate sales companies. Girlfriends was the most professional. During our sale they did a fantastic job of not just managing the process but working to sell many items.

Overall we had a GREAT experience with Girlfriends Estate Services and will highly recommend them to others. They liquidated the entire contents of our home because we were downsizing and selling everything to live and travel full-time in an RV. They accomplished this in a 1-1/2 day estate sale with only two pickup truck loads of stuff left over which didn't sell. One load ended up being a combination of garbage and recycling, which we hauled to a local transfer station. The other load was stuff we hauled to Goodwill. We can't believe how much time, effort, and hours everyone at Girlfriends put into our sale and are very pleased with the outcome. The gross proceeds from the sale of our possessions turned out to be TWICE what we'd guessed it would be! The cost of service listed reflects a 35% commission on the gross proceeds. We feel their commission was a fair and reasonable cost for the area (Seattle is an expensive area), for the amount of time and resources they expended, and for the most excellent outcome. We can't imagine having tried to pull this off by ourselves in the same timeframe. A big THANK YOU to Becky, Brian, and everyone at Girlfriends!

In our time of turmoil moving my father and step-mother into an assisted living facility, distributing family belongs to family members, and trying to organize my father, mother (deceased) and step-mothers belongs was an overwhelming task. After reviewing estate services on Angie's List, looking at websites and reading about estate sales online I contacted Becky at Girlfriends Estate Services to set up a meeting.
Talking to Becky on the phone and in person set me at ease. She has been in the business for years and yes she has seen this much stuff before and yes she was confident we would have a successful sale. We set up an estate auction date and her employees went to work. They were very professional, arrived on time, and organized all the belongs in the house within a couple days. I walked through the house the week before the estate sale and I was amazed they could get everything organized, priced and displayed so quickly and professionally - I have been staring at this stuff for weeks with no progress!
The sale was a success they sold a lot of large items that I was worried wouldn't sell as well as a ton of medium and small items. From start to finish Becky and her employees were professional, compassionate about our individual situation, and reassuring. I highly recommend Girlfriends Estate Sales and Service they were wonderful to work with in this difficult situation!

3 day sale went very well. I was definitely happy with this co.'s efforts. Very professional. Great care with multiples of details. Belongings treated with care. Great with customers. What she and her team did was truly impressive, plus providing a final accounting.

This is by far the best Estate Sale service company you can use. Extremely professional, but friendly. Having an estate sale can sometimes be an emotional time and Becky (the owner) and all of her crew were sensitive, responsible and dealt with the entire process calmly and professionally. They needed several days to set up my estate, bringing their own tables and other equipment and transformed a cluttered, dusty home into an elegant showroom of my collectibles and other items. They went through every drawer and cabinet and closet to make sure nothing was missed. They are certified appraisers and I was surprised that some items that I thought were only worth a few dollars were actually worth hundreds to thousands of dollars. Becky has a tremendous customer base and I couldn't believe how many people were at the sale hours beforehand and throughout the day. The workers were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and interacted with the customers in a great way that ended up with purchases that might otherwise not have been made. I have been to other estate sales and didn't get the same sense of friendliness mixed with professionalism. In the end my goals were met. I made some money and got rid of a lot of stuff without having to cart if all off to a donation center myself. Although there was still items that didn't sell, they were mostly things that were appropriate to donate anyway. More importantly, her knowledge and experience helped me sell items that I may have carelessly sent to Goodwill. Advice: by prepared AND realistic. Although the process was not always easy, Becky and her team made the experience easier than I could ever have done myself and helped put closure to an emotional, but necessary, event. I would highly recommend this company above and beyond any other.
