Dave Davis did an excellent job in tuning the piano, which had not been performed in over 5-6 years. Some keys had been sticking and those were fixed during the tuning. The keys are all now consistent in touch and are well tuned. We would definitely use Davis Piano Service again.

Dave thoroughly knows the instrument and patiently fine-tuned every note. It is as if he has an exceptional ear and touch for it. He is very easy to work with.

The appointment was supposed to be at 430pm but due to a cancellation and that he was in our neck of the neighborhood, I was contacted and asked if it could be bumped up to 3pm on Friday. I was awesome with that and told him so as well as provided directions on how to located our condo. He actually showed up about 5 minutes before three and immediately walked over to our piano. He said that it wasn't any need to strip off any of the stuff we had on top since he knew immediately how to access it. The first thing that he did was run through a couple of tunes to verify if it was in our out of tune by ear then hooked up a couple of tuning devices which then verified that it wasn't real bad. So he took a look in the back, tweaked a few things and then turned around and told us that because he was here five minutes instead of a full hour, that charging us the $200 quote wouldn't be right he would charge us the cost of coming out here during the rush hour. So it ended up being half of the quote. However the quote is listed and that is about what he would normally charge for a full time of service.

Mr. Davis was nice enough to come to our home a few days before Christmas to tune the piano and fix a couple of other problems. It was so nice to be able to play it on Christmas day. Mr. Davis was prompt, and friendly, and explained everything he was going to need to do. I will definitely be calling them again.

He listened carefully to what I wanted, added his suggestions, and collaboratively formed a plan of action. He worked steadily, with precision and thoughtfulness. My spirited two year old granddaughter joined us, and he involved her in the process. He gave me tremendously good advice, both about my piano as well as about helping my granddaughter develop an ear for music. She still talks about the man who fixed the piano, and she stands in front of it playing and singing her very own songs. The piano sounds terrific. A wonderful and memorable experience with a terrific out-come.

Great, he did exactly what we asked. He tuned the piano and then voiced it. It had become very bright and he made the tone darker. He was punctual and very professional.

It went fine.

He was easy going and friendly, and obviously enjoyed the work he did. We have young children (who we tried to keep quiet and out the way), but he wasn't irritated even though one of them started to wail at one point. I felt comfortable to take the children out the house and leave him unattended here. The piano just sounds better now he's gone - not just more in tune, but the notes ring out more clearly. I'd recommend him to others.

I am happy with the service I receive from Davis. They take time to make sure everything is in place and that my piano sounds the best it can. I really don't remember how much I pay for this service but I assure you it is worth it.

Piano tuner arrived as scheduled. He tuned the piano and polished the keys. The piano sounds great now!

David does a great job. He is professional. Has us set-up in his system to give a call when it is time for the Piano to be tuned. I don't have to remember to do it! He is always on time and is very efficient with his time on the job.

I was very happy with the work that was done for me. I would definitely hire them again to clean my piano. They were very friendly and courteous. I would recommend them to my friends.

DAVE WAS VERY FRIENDLY, HE ARRIVED ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT AND HE CALLED WHEN HE WAS GETTING CLOSE TO OUR HOME TO LET US KNOW HE WAS ABOUT TO ARRIVE. THE PIANO SOUNDED MUCH BETTER WHEN HE WAS DONE. HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND WAS HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY OF OUR QUESTIONS.
