Blue Ribbon Tree Service did an excellent job. They arrived on time with a big crew and accomplished all the work in one day, including removing all the wood from the large fir trees and cleaning up my yard. I highly recommend BRT for any large tree removal as well as prunning services.

I hired this guy in 2018 to assess my maple tree. Mr. Anderson told me that the tree is good for five years, but it fell this year and broke my windows. Keep away from this unprofessional guy!

"Unfortunately I just now saw this. We are having trouble finding this person in our data base. We looked at all our email addresses and nothing came up. I asked our controller to see what she could find. She could not find anything either. She checked all invoices from 2014 to 2018 and came up empty. She also did a search as to the amount [Member Name Removed] paid and found nothing. She went to King County Assessor'[Member Information Removed] office online and to see who owns this property and address of [Member Information Removed] is an office building, not a residence. So we are puzzled. She thinks that person used work address and not real name. Not sure how else to respond. I know we do our best to let the folks know exactly what we think. But, with the weather and storms around here, it can be really unpredictable. In the last windstorm many trees failed or were damaged...and did damage to houses, yards, fences etc. Folks that live around here will attest to that. We would have been more than happy to have helped this person out. I do not understand why they did not call us. Doesn't make sense. I can tell you that we are not perfect, never say we are. We do makes mistakes, but will always, and that is always own up to them. I still do not know why [Member Name Removed] did not call us directly and let here grievance be know to us. This the third time we've hired Blue Ribbon to remove or prune trees and we have always been extremely happy with their work. We have an acre of property with some very mature trees. The Scots pine was over 60 years old and huge. Over the years it developed a lean toward our house and we decided it needed to go. To complicate matters there was a beautiful mature Japanese maple that was literally wrapped around the pine. Andy brought in a crane to remove the pine without damaging the Japanese maple. Everything went perfectly and the pine was gone in less than 2 hours. Wow. One stand of maples had to be sectioned and roped to avoid dropping limbs on the house/landscaping, the other was lifted out using the crane. Andy had two crews working and they wrapped everything up in about 4 hours. These guys all work hard, are polite, professional and a delight to watch. Can't think of any reason we'd ever hire anyone else to do tree work.

Andy Anderson and his crew were nice. He gave the bid but did not come out for the cutting. I tipped each worker. Unfortunately, I did not see a large partially sawed off branch sticking straight down until afterwards. Mr. Anderson denied his crew would cut it that way. I told him no one else had been out, but he refused to saw the protruding limb that was partially sawed off so I'll have to live with that view as it is too high & large for me to cut.

"[Member Name Removed] had us out to do the little job and we did it. Unfortunately, she had the crew working on the other side of the fence...property they were not to go on. She also had us doing work on that property that was not in the original quote. So we were not supposed to be there or do that work on the other side of the fence. She requested the guys to do it and they did. What confused me was that the guys went on the other side of the fence, so I found it hard to believe we did that. So we did more than was supposed to be done and on a property we were not to be on. Seems a bit off to me. Regardless, we did go back and trimmed off the cut limb, which should never had been cut in the first place. I did have a talk with that crew and that will not happen again. A certified tree climber accomplished the job with amazing expertise. They were timely, neat and accomplished the job safely without dropping branches in the neighbors yard as some other companies said they would have to.

Went just as promised. They did exactly what they said they would. The communication was a little slow, and they are busy so it took a while to get the job done, but they were accurate in their prediction, and on time in their service.

Went very well - right on time - great crew. All work done as initially requested. As some branches were removed, it was necessary to have some additional ones taken down. They addressed all our issues, were very professional, and did a great cleanup job. Would hire again.

Blue Ribbon did a good job and it was done VERY quickly. Their price was very competitive. The owner, Andy, that did our quote was polite and pleasant to work with. The gentleman that trimmed up the cedars was also very pleasant and polite - he did a great job. We will definitely call them back again when we want more tree work done.

I found this company through Angie's list as they have had many great reviews. I have worked with other Tree companies in past and have not had terrific experience so I came back to Angie's list.
Everything about this company is top-notch, from phone scheduling, Ian's professionalism when he came to do estimate, his prompt reply, the prompt scheduling and the job itself. I would definitely hire them again for any tree service.
