I recently enlisted AT Foam for the second time to insulate the roof of my new cabin build in Cle Elum, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. Their spray foam installation service was nothing short of exceptional. John had his team on site within 72 hours of initial contact and they completed this large job in short order while displaying a remarkable attention to detail, ensuring every nook and cranny was effectively sealed. John provided clear and concise communication throughout the process from bidding to job cleanup. If only all contractors were this prompt and well managed!

John the VP of sales for ATFOAM provided clear communication from start to finish. He explained what product would be best for our needs more clearly than the other quotes we received. The spray foam crew did a great job and left the site very clean after the work was completed. I’m sure this was a smaller job for them but I felt like my business was important and handled very professionally. We paid a bit more for premium spray foam but it’s well worth it knowing it’s good for the life of the building! Now we’re able to enjoy our shed with the changing seasons and host football nights. We will be calling them for our next project. Thank you ATFoam.

AT-FOAM was recommended to me by a fiberglass insulation company. I stil read other reviews before calling. John was very pleasant to work with and his crew was very nice, showed up on time & did a great job. I also greatly appreciated John's follow-up visit the next day to inspect & do a few touchups. He also took the time to explain the work that was done, patiently answered my questions and gave me some additional insulation tips. I highly recommend them.

John and his crew did a fantastic job - from coming out to provide the bid, to communication throughout the process, flexibility in scheduling around our inspections, and ultimately performing the job. He also helped coordinate the batt insulation portion of our job, even though his company specializes in spray foam. As the homeowner managing our remodel, I had a lot of questions in coordinating the insulation job around all of the other activities we had going on. John was always available to answer questions via text or phone, and worked with us to figure out how to make everything work. He was extremely patient, helpful, and professional. I would highly recommend AT Foam to anyone.

This is a second time we hired this company for our insulation. First for the first floor, now for the downstairs. Even though there were some issues with their track and the job was postponed for another day, the company completed the work. Similar to the first job they did, when they spray, they will miss some spots behind wires and hard to access areas. In these cases, you need to remember to mark them with red spray and they will fill them with foam from the cans OR just buy spray foam at Home Depot and spray yourself. Even though at-foam offers windows wrapping, we did it all ourselves. All Windows, doors, floor, electrical boxes and cans. I haven't seen them shooting the foam into electrical boxes much but it's probably safer to wrap them. The foam particles will fly everywhere, so make sure you wrap everything you don't want to damage, including the floor. I also checked the work with the thermal camera to find all missing spots. I recommend to get one to make sure you get 100% thermal barrier. Spraying is super fast, putting other insulation would take me weeks. For the first job, 2 years ago, we moved out from the house for 3 days. This time we stayed upstairs while the work was done downstairs. We opened the windows and kept them open with fan running for 2-3 hours. There was not smell and I am glad we didn’t move to the hotel. After spraying and filling the missed spots with spray from in cans, I got the city inspector. He signed off the permit without any issues. Last but not least, I took second quote from some company from Seattle. Other company was not so detailed about type of insulation they will do, they seem to not know what they are doing and their price was higher at the end. Because I had good experience from at-foam, I decided to not go with the other company. We will do house addition one day and I know I will hire at-foam again.

Awesome! John Rayl is extremely knowledgeable and takes great care to explain the product and process. job required foam insulation in rafters and 2x4 walls on remodel of 1910, meeting or exceeding 2015 energy code with very eco friendly product. House is under hospital landing zone, so noticably quieter after insulation. 2000+ sq. ft. house heated with single 1000 watt heater to prep for drywall. Don't have data, but foam is so robust in walls I would expect earthquake sheer resistance is incredible on old ship lath and balloon framed walls.

our 2 main reasons for the spray foam work was 1) we were always having smells i.e.: dead mouse smells coming into the house and it was always cold. the insulation was at least 16" from the flooring in most areas and wasn't insulating anything. and as stated above we couldn't stop anything from getting in it and dying. so, my wife found AT FOAM, and I called on Friday and spoke to John, he was most accommodating and informative on the whole process and also stated that he did what we are looking for and will do the mobile home. the only thing he stood his ground on was they don't do round ducting...ha-ha! I say cool, because all of mine is square! John shows up Monday and he fit us in on his busy schedule and was very accommodating to ours as well. he spent nearly 1 1/2 hours with me going over every facet of the work, no area was left in-discussed. we hired him on the spot, after he left we called the last crawl space company we had an apt with for a quote and cancelled that. now keep in mind this is the week prior to Christmas. we also discussed the removal of the existing insulation and he contacted his contractor for that, but I asked if we had the option of removing it ourselves? he said yes and he would schedule his work around the date we gave him to prevent any possibilities of anything freezing up during the cold spell due to we had to do all the water pipe wrapping ourselves (for about a week it didn't get above freezing, this company is awesome in every area). the date was set as Jan 1/2. so, a couple days later John calls me and said hey are you open to another schedule and I say oh yeah. he offered up the day after Christmas, we replied we will be ready to support! Special note here: if you're not in shape don't do your own insulation removal, just suck it up and pay for the services offered by John! they showed up on time and as scheduled (this also takes into account that we live in the boonies, 2 hours from them!) they were very professional and got right to work, they discussed with me what was going to happen and so on and I told them that there were no restrictions and to foam everything, our goal was to insulate and seal off everything. Special note here: if you own dogs and they are "lickers and not biters" the crew was very accommodating to them too. the advertised schedule was 2 days, they were done in about 5 hours! when they are completed they offer you the chance and the time to inspect it their work prior to them removing their gear and leaving the site, take it upon yourself to do this inspection (nice touch in their process here). I did and I found 2 small areas and they promptly took action on it. the advertised 3" of foam was consistent. I poked thru with a 3" spike type tool and did random measurements thru out and it was on par at 2 3/4" to just over 3". and considering how tight the area is this completely acceptable. they cleaned up their work areas and briefed me on how, how long to air it out, any anticipated smells from the off-gassing, etc. prior to their leaving. in closing, we pulled off a fairly huge project at Christmas, with us doing the insulation removal, in below freezing weather and 2 hours away from them! this company will work with you within reason and go out of their way to accommodate you and the process. customer satisfaction is way off the charts here in a positive direction. we had a great experience and we are having them back to do the foam work on a garage addition we are currently working on. we highly recommend this company. total price was about $5700 for 1700 sq ft home, this includes the extra for the ducts. and we did the insulation removal ourselves, which saved about $1800.

The company showed up on time (even earlier) and scheduled the work for full week. They finished in 3 days. After each day I was coming to the house to inspect the foam depth and every time I marked the area, they were fixing it the next day. There were few places that should be sprayed more but overall it was good. The most important for us was to not get electrical wires cut during foam shaving. We spent hours securing all wires before spraying, pulling them from rough-in openings. Even though, still some of them are sticking, so foam is really pushing them out. At the end I found 2-3 wires insulation scratched (so no real damage to the wire) and one case when wire copper was almost exposed but nothing cut which is great! At-foam also helped us with applying to PSE for insulation rebate which we got few days ago. That's a huge plus! At-foam provided also all required documents for the city inspector to approve the insulation. Things that could be better: - would be great to know 2-3 weeks before the job that at-foam will cover windows/doors but not electrical boxes. We spent a lot of time covering both even though they would do the windows for us. Would be great get some kind of instructions how to prepare the house for spray foam. - not every place was sprayed with the foam evenly. I found few ceiling electrical boxes where there should be much more foam behind it. I understand it's not easy to reach there but still, empty area might cause water condensations. - a lot of places in the ceiling were not shaved evenly. I still prefer to get more foam and fix it later before installing drywalls but shaving is very messy and it could be done better Overall I am happy with the service, communication and scheduling. They cleaned after the job, took their trashes and left us a nice insulation.

John from AT Foam was excellent. Very informed and up to date in insulation and condensation technology. I have an old small craftsman that has the attic converted to living space. 2x4 roof rafters leaving minimal area for insulation and no area for air space above. After several quotes from less informed insulation contractors I learned of AT. John confirmed my concerns and more fully explained how to approach the problem. We ended up with a combination of closed cell foam in the living spaces and open cell in the non -living areas to achieve a decent R value. The cost was very fair. The team arrived on schedule, got right to it and finished timely. Veteran owned and operated. There was a lot of prep but the outcome should be worth it. Highly recommend these guys. Easy to communicate with.

Went very well. Planned, priced, scheduled and completed all as stated. Said what they would do and they did what they said. very professional and experienced from the first call to completion. Prompt, consistent and an awesome finish. Cleaned up and left the way it was upon arrival except the addition of the foam. This was installed by a professional, experienced crew. Very courteous, polite and most of all provided an "Awesome" completed product. Thank you!!

Everything was professional and done with excellence. John, VP of sales, came out and did the bid and was very good at answering my questions and concerns. We especially wanted to make sure the cantilever areas were insulated well to stop any drafts. They had the best bid for our job. The 2 man crew doing the work were very capable and professional. They showed up on time and got the work completed as planned. It was nice not to feel drafts through my kitchen floor in the cantilever area. The crew also told us their concerns about the state of our duct insulation, which had just been installed after the cleanout work in Sept.by another company. John even went above and beyond to check when we had problems with our house staying warm when the weather turned cold-which was not caused by their work ,but the poor insulation job on our ductwork.

On Nov.8th our house was feeling like cold air was coming through the heating vents even though our furnace was running fine. After not getting a call back from the other company about the insulation on the ducts I emailed John at AT Foam to ask if he could check if there was a loose duct or what was causing the cold air flow.

John came out and checked out the crawlspace and was shocked to see how badly the duct insulation had been done by the other company. Some areas were not wrapped at all and others had large gaps exposing the ductwork, etc. That was the cause of our house not keeping the heat and he took pictures so I could show the other company. I was shocked to see how much of the duct insulation was done poorly and I thanked John for his help. I call that service excellence and would highly recommend this company.
