First John was very accommodating to my schedule and we quickly came up with a time that worked for both of us via email/text. John was VERY punctual. Appointment was set for 9:00 am. Doorbell rang at 9:01 AM Gives him 1 minute to park and walk from his truck. lol I was 100% sure I had rats, squirrel or another critter that size in my attic due to hearing banging on vent pipes and something runny/scurrying across the ceiling in the bedroom. John checked out the attic and found no signs of anything living up there. He also checked out several of the attic vents from the inside and outside and found no signs of anything getting in and determined it must have been a bird on the roof. We do have crows in the area and a local hawk. There was no trying to sell me something I didn't need. 100% honest and I would not hesitate to hire him for future services. Even though I'm a 99% DIY type person I may higher his services for routine pest control just because of his honesty. It's nice to know there are still some good honest people out there.

The technician was knowledgeable and thorough, finding and destroying the moth larvae and setting traps to handle those who were already fully grown. I would use Adept again as my first choice.

John is fantastic! First of all, he knows his business and you can tell right away he is good at what he does. He is professional and nice. He doesn't mess around and gets to the point. He doesn't waste your time or money like many other pest control firms out there. Since becoming homeowners 5 years ago, we already had to use his services multiple times. We first contacted John when we had a tricky rat problem in an old bathroom. He was recommended by many on the Microsoft homeowners' boards. He opened up the wall, helped us set up the traps and worked with us/our general contractor to fix the problem. Then he helped us with bees (once in the chimney and once in the attic). He was quick and effective. The bees never came back. Couple weeks back, I called him again when the rats showed up in our sewer. He showed up on time, answered all my questions and helped us set up the traps to assess current situation. Even after he left, he followed-up with emails and provided guidance on our issues. He did the consultation at no cost (since we had no rats in the house anymore) while others charge $250 just to show up at your door. Finding good contractors is so hard. I am so happy we found John at Adept Pest and I'd highly recommend him to anyone with any pest control needs.

John is not only great at what he does, he's a very nice person. I called to schedule for him to come assess a mouse issue in the attic. When he came he ended up fixing the problem that same day. I was concerned about how much the service was going to cost because we hadn't discussed it before he did the work, but he said because there was a miscommunication on their part he would charge me less than their normal minimum fee.
He did a great job of closing up the holes where the mice were getting in and came back twice to check the traps. For all this he only charged me $125 (half of the normal $250)! He is a stand-up person and very skilled at what he does. I'd give him 10 starts if I could. :)

John, the owner of Adept Pest, was referred to me by my neighbor who used his services and who said he came highly recommended by a Microsoft employees' contractor referral blog.
Previously, we hired a large pest control co. but were very unhappy with the inexperienced technician's efforts which did not solve the rat problem in our crawl space due to failure to correctly identify and fix where the rats were making entry (this all became apparent after we spent a lot of money and the problem persisted to the point an insulation co. did not want to re-install installation in our crawl space!)
John was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and competent. He provided excellent clear photos of the problem and then he came in with his assistant, Peter, and all the supplies necessary to fix the area from the inside out. He provided photos of the excellent, comprehensive, solid fixes that he made. John and Peter then monitored the crawl space with traps but our rat problem had been solved.
I highly, highly recommend hiring John and Peter's services over a larger pest control company where you are subject to not knowing if the tech they send out is competent and experienced. John did a top notch job at a very fair price. It was a completely stress free and easy experience.

I pointed out where the pigeons were roosting, we walked around the house to see where else might be a place they'd like to nest, and determined there was just the one spot. John cleaned everything up and put up the mesh in just one appointment, since he had the time. (Rather than appt for consult and another appt for the job)

They take care of rodents who like to take up residence our gutters. The gentleman who helps us is prompt, reasonably priced, and effective. We had an issue with mice under the house, and because of his service we haven't seen a single pest under the house for four years. Also, he is very honest. He won't set us up with an annual contract, because he said it wouldn't be worth the money in our case.

I found out about Adept Pest from the West Seattle blog. I then checked the List and he had a couple of great reports so I decided to give him a call. He came out and took care of the immediate problem -- a rat taking up residence alongside my dishwasher. He also laid traps in in the crawlspace. He told me to call him if the traps caught anything and he would come back and take care of it. Well, the next day there was a rat and he did take care of it. He came a day later to talk to me about what he would recommend. I felt really good about him and his prices so I signed the estimate. Two days later, I came home mid-day to find he and his men almost done. It was great. The scope of the original work increased when he inspected the roof and found access points for critters. He took care of all of it and didn't charge more than the original estimate. I can't recommend John more highly. He really helped me feel secure in my new house again.

It went excellent. His main business is in pest control he did it because I asked him and he said he could. He is a versatile businessman. I had a friend who's husband passed away and he came out to there house. He power washed their roof and treated it when it was in really bad shape all free of charge. He is an exceptional man. We've met him through his pest control business that he's done as well for us.
