Steven returned my call right away, I could quickly tell he was professional and knowledgeable and competent. I've worked w/ many different contractors over the last year w/ a major remodel, and Steven was as good as they get. He was very energetic and worked very fast, continuing to work as he ate lunch. Loved that. Had a good sense of design for constructing a trim design around my new entry which turned out great. Very good at offering his opinions on how to do something, taught me some carpentry tricks etc. I've paid less for others but Steven is worth every penny. Will call on him again.

I had sewage back-up into my finished basement and mother-in-law suite and I hired this general contractor to repair and renovate the area after my insurance company had the yucky part cleaned up. Steven worked with me to do things exactly the way I wanted them and on my time frame. He always cleaned up and always asked if I was happy with the way he did things (I was). He had lots of good recommendations, suggestions, observations. etc. I took some and left some and he was fine with that. He was extraordinarily good at recycling materials. We moved and reused doors that I would have thrown out and lumber that could be salvaged was. Steven is an experienced licensed general contractor, insured, bonded, etc. Although I had my own design already, he offers design services as well. I have hired him to do some trim carpentry as well.
