Ron went above and beyond through all phases of our project. He was more responsive than any contractor I've ever dealt with in the past. When he came out for a first look, he was quick to take measurements, provide advice, and recommend cost-competitive suppliers. He sent the quote right away, provided ongoing consultation while we selected materials, and was exceptionally patient and accommodating when our materials were put on back order and we had to delay the project. Once underway, he was expedient and tidy and respectful of our home. He was the only contractor (of 4 I spoke with) to allow us to keep our furniture in our home and shift it from room to room as he worked from one end of the house to the other. This saved us a ton of extra hassle. He also personally helped move heavy furniture and bent over backwards to make the project as easy as possible on us. When we came up short on materials near the end of the project (our fault, not Ron's), he was very accommodating and came back immediately to finish the job when the materials finally arrived several months after he'd first started our job. We must have been a contractor's biggest nightmare, yet Ron was a delight to work with every step of the way and the quality of his work is outstanding. I just can't say enough great things about this guy. Highly recommend!

It went great. Ron does an excellent job of prepping the homeowner in what needs to be done prior to the job. He also keeps in contact throughout the process to let you know what needs to be done at each stage. Of course there is dust, but on this last job, he tarped and taped off our living room (our floors were not worn in there) and upon moving back in there was no dust at all in that room! He must  vacuum throughout the process very well because I really only need to clean the very surfaces of things and it is a very fine layer of dust.

To start off with, I had a quote done by Craig a year earlier. When I called a year later he remembered my floor and what it needed.   His floor guy came out (I think it was Mike) right on time (and had called before hand). He covered everything in plastic and started to work. Craig had explained how long everything would take and he was right on. He had to sand and prep and stain week one, then swedish finish mon and tues of the following week. The only thing he forgot to mention  (or I didnt ask) was the area was off limits after prep, so from thursdays on I wasnt able to get around parts of my house. But other than that he did a fantastic job. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Overall, installation was great. It took five days total. He showed up a little early and put in long days doing first class work. He cleaned up at the end of each day. There was a little extra unplanned repair work that he was willing to negotiate at a fair price. He met the original bid, adding about $400 extra for unplaned repairs. If I were to put wood flooring in another house, he would be the first guy I called.

I am very happy with the job they did for me and the end result. I will be having them back again later on to do some touch up work and refinishing on the floors they installed. I thought they were great.
