Pam's Classic Cleaning

Pam came to our house to do a cleaning.  Other then a little GPS/lost issue, the experience was overall very good.  She did a very good job considering I gave her no direction or guidance.  I am a bit OCD about my bathrooms and kitchen and just don't have the time to do them myself to my specific OCD level.  Considering that, she did a good job a few minor things that I know for a fact she would have done if I had been home to tell her myself.  She even got the water stains off our shower that I hadn't been able to get off.  We did have to provide our cleaning supplies, which I quickly realized we did not have enough of the right kind of supplies, but she did a great job with the limited resources.  Anyway, we would definately use her again down the road!

Pam has cleaned for us for several years and always provides a high standard of cleanliness.  Every time.  I have never been dissatisified with her work.

We recently had a child and both returned to work.  There was not time for housecleaning and the cleaning that needs to be done on a weekly or bi-weekly basis had just gotten out of control.  On two different occasions Pam came over and cleaned our home.  Both times she showed up on time, was very professional and cleaned our home thoroughly.  Both my husband and I were so happy after the first cleaning that we asked her to come back a second time before we had out of town guests staying with us.  She is so trustworthy that we allowed her to come into our home while we were both at work.  Even my mom commented on how nice our house looked when she stayed with us (which is a huge compliment).

We will be using Pam again the next time we need a house cleaner.

Wow, I'm so surprised and disappointed that although I don't like writing negative reviews, this situation really warrants it. I was looking for a house-cleaner because I travel for work frequently, work 65+ hours a week, and I have four cats. So yes, my place really needs help, that's why I hire a cleaner. I contacted Pam because she stated that she's a pet person, and even does pet sitting.

She came to my house today as agreed, while I was out of town and my boyfriend at work. We agreed on $95 based on my 3 bedroom, 1500 square foot condo. She later called me basically saying that my house would take 10 hours of work(!) and that she isn't interested in cleaning my house. I was bewildered, but told her that although I don't understand, I respect her opinion and thanks for her work.

Come to find out that for the $100 that I left her, she cleaned part of my bathroom. Yes just that one bathroom. She cleaned the floor, counter and shower, and didn't even clean the bathtub. And that's it -- no other room was touched. In fact, all my lights were light on, the heat left on and a vacuum cleaner just left in the middle of the floor still plugged into the socket.

I don't understand how a house cleaner doesn't want to clean a home, especially one that claims to a pet person. Let's face it, pets make messes, leave hair etc. But I would still respect that and find someone else. But I don't understand taking $100 and cleaning nothing but 3/4 of a small bathroom, and just leaving lights/heat on and the vacuum cleaner carelessly plugged in in the middle of the room -- that just seems unprofessional to me.

I wish that my experience had been better. Perhaps Pam is a great house-cleaner if don't have pets and your house is already very clean.

UPDATE: Since this review, Pam has been irate and left me threatening voicemails and emails, calling me names making crazy accusations and more. I actually had to tell her that the next contact from her will result in a restraining order. I'm am so sorry that I ever contacted her, no one needs that kind of crazy in your life. .  Bottom line  is this. I had another house cleaner for seven years. She did 2 1/2 hours of work and when I came home it was heavenly clean. With Pam -- she charged me 10% more money -- and I couldn't find much that she cleaned at all. And there is no excuse, ever...to try to bully someone into taking down an honest review. This is unprofessional and wrong.

She came early, with a smile, and worked diligently throughout the house.  She uses your own cleaning supplies, as well as your cleaning instruments (i.e., vacuum cleaner, mop).  I would recommend her to a friend.

They did quality work. When they said it would be clean it was clean and there wasn’t anything extra to do and everything was taken care of. My client actually paid for the service.

Pam does excellent work. Each time she cleans my house she gets a little deeper.  My home is looking quite spiffy after several visits.  I am very pleased with her service and highly recommend her.

Pam did an excellent job thoroughly cleaning all the bathrooms and kitchen.  My kid's bath was particularly dirty and she really made it sparkle.  I was very pleased with her work.  She spent about 4 hours completing the job.  I will use her services again. 

Pam does a great job. The first couple of times, she was learning what was important to me, but once I pointed out things that were, she has made sure to hit those areas well. She is reliable and punctual and the last two times she has cleaned were 100% perfect.

Pam has been cleaning our house every two weeks for over three years now. It has been very nice receiving personalized service from the same individual rather than people from an agency.
