Propane Sales Services
My former propane provider was gouging customers with new terms and conditions, and a per gallon rate of $2.99. Its impossible to shop around when you lease a tank. But this is propane, its not like it costs one supplier more than another. But pacer's price is 1.72 per gallon, and they were very easy to deal with, and responsive. Looking forward to this better provider in the future.

Service went well.
More relevant to this review is how I came to Pacer. In late 2012 I was paying over $5.50/gal for propane from Suburban Propane. I saw the Pacer truck filling my neighbors tank and asked the driver how much they were charging for propane, to which he replied that it was about $2.50/gal. I was captive at Suburban because we had a leased tank (a residual leased by the previous owner of my house.) Suburban would not negotiate the price.
I immediately set about purchasing my own 500-gal tank from Pacer. They installed the new tank and set the Suburban tank to the side. Suburban charged me $90 to remove their own tank, plus they would not refund or credit any of the remaining $75 lease fee or the remaining ~50 gallons (~10%) of propane in the tank they hauled away. I strongly recommend against doing any business with SUBURBAN PROPANE.
I have been COMPLETELY satisfied with PACER PROPANE since we began working with them in January 2013. I strongly recommend them for anyone in their service area.

I have a propane furnace and lease a tank and buy propane from Pacer Propane. Chip was friendly professional and punctual. He stopped by 1st and we discussed what was needed to connect my new generator to my existing propane line. I bought most of the pipe and fittings and he came by and did the hookup. Very satisfied.
