Good service and quality. The new door is great.

Install went smoothly. Inspected other doors and openers while he was here. Found out my middle door chain was tearing out of the wall so he remounted it and tuned all of the doors and tightened chains. Excellent work and great communication.

They were responsive, prompt, and friendly. National Door responded to my phone call on Friday night and I made an appointment for the next day - first appointment in the morning. They showed up on time and finished the project in an hour.

I took 3 bids and Dane's was the best. He delivered it while he was there and he gave me all the options to choose from (2 layer door or 3 layer door, chain drive or belt drive motor, keypad or no keypad. The worst bidder was the fellow from Costco who kept waving off my inquiries on price saying he would show that on the bid, and then he said he would email the bid later, and after I prompted him a day later he sent it a day after that with only the high priced choices.
The installer Micah showed up during the promised window in the morning, and about 6 hours later the job was done. He went over how to program the controllers and then set them up the way I wanted them (both can open either door - the wonders of modern technology). Now 2.5 weeks later they have been performing flawlessly and they look great.
I did the caulking and painting on the new door frame edges that the insulating strips on the sides and top of the door mate to. I also did the garage clean up to give Micah the room to work in, and the subsequent re-assembly of the garage mess. And I spent half an hour cleaning the doors to a perfect shine (they had a few smudges that I noticed in the sunlight the next day). All told I spent more labor time on the project then the installer did!

The quality of the new doors, regarding thermal insulation, warranty, and quality of door construction, was explained. The sales rep was very polite with both of us, and efficient in his calculations of what needed to be done to replace our old garage doors. We were very happy with both him and the young man who installed the doors a couple of days after we hired National Door. We had taken two other bids; of the three sales reps, we felt the Nat'l Door sales rep, and their installer who did the work, were by far the most professional in their demeanor as well as very competent. I recall it taking about four hours to remove old doors, install the new ones, and haul away the old ones. Beyond the cost of National Door, we did have to spend another $400 with our plumber to move our waterline in the garage so the new doors could be installed.

Everything went smoothly as scheduled.  I have one big wooden double car garage door. Showed up on time, did the work, explained how it works, what to watch out for.  I have used them before and will use them again and would recommend this company.

Great service, they came when they said they were going to come and they were on time. They took care of it very quickly and they were really nice.

Garage door tech showed up within the time window indicated.  Unfortunately, he didn't grab a tall enough ladder and left to pick up a ladder that was tall enough for are garage doors which made for a longer evening for him.  (Our garage doors go straight up a wall, so they are alittle different than a normal door configuration).  He returned quickly that afternoon with a taller ladder and began working on the doors.  He was unable to finish that afternoon as it was getting late but quickly wanted to ensure that I was happy to have him come back to finish the job.  Early the following morning, Paul, the owner called to schedule another appointment to have the tech finish the job.  Once again, the tech arrived within the time window indicated and work quickly and efficiently to finish the job.  He once again wanted to ensure that I was a happy customer when he left.

National door was very prompt in addressing my issues. After backing into my garage door I needed two panels replaced. The work was done quickly and without any problems. Further issues that needed to be dealt with were scheduled that day. I've had garage doors installed and service work performed previously with this company. They are responsive, professional and easy to work with. They are very good when dealing with a distraught homeowner!

great service, great price, willuse again without a question

Paul the repairman did great.  He showed up on time, and was willing to put up with my dogs.  He was unable to fix both garage doors, but fixed the one that I needed most.  A part has been ordered, and I am expected a call in the next two weeks to tell me it is in and what day they are coming.  Price to fix the first one was unbelievable, we are talking a 33 year old garage door.  National Door was recommended to me by a contractor in Redmond, who said that is the only one he uses.  I have heard that before.  I was totally amazed.  I was married to a Commercial Architect for 42 years, he would always plan these things when we were on vacation and one of his "buddies" would do it.  This was not for free.  I couldn't tell you how many times we came home from vacation and the job wasn't finished or hadn't even been started.

Dan came out on Sunday of Labor Day week to fix my Garage Door springs. My door was stuck closed. He showed up two hours after I first called him. He was very fast and helped me understand the maintenance of the Garage door. His Pricing was amazing and Didn't charge for coming out on Sunday. I would recommend his service to everyone. Dane was very professional and showed me around the warehouse in Redmond when I came to visit.  Estimating went well and appointments were kept.  Ernesto did an excellent job extracting our old wooden garage door and replacing it with a new steel door with windows and a much quieter motor and belt-driven system.  He had a challenge in that the clearance he had to work with on one side was just 3 inches from the wall that separated our one car space with the renovated other half, but everything went smooth and the result looks real good.

On the great side:
Great work and good explanations from the owner (the technician was sick.) Did full tune-up on the door, on my request. Gave some useful tips on the yearly maintenance. Should be good for 10 years!
On the not so great:
Making an appointment was a bit more complicated than it should be, and then the technician/owner ended up with wrong information. That did not have much consequences to me, but to their next customer as the job was longer than he had scheduled.

What more could you ask for in a contractor.  We called regarding two noisy garage door openers, thinking we would need to replace at least one if not both.  Dan came out on time, as promised, and inspected the mechanics of the openers.  He lubricated them and opened the covers.  The openers were well over 15 years old and some of the bearings were marginal.  Dan said he doubted parts would be available so he couldn't replace them.  However, he advised us to save our money and continue using until they were really gone.  He also said he'd feel guilty about charging us their usual service fee of $129 as he had other work in the neighborhood.  So he said to just send National Door a check for $79.00!
Guess who we'll be calling when we need new openers and who we'll be refering?!!....:-)

I was out of town when the garage door at my rental property quit working. Although I could not contact anyone on the weekend, I sent
National Door an email and they responded first thing Monday morning. They were willing to coordinate with my renter and were able to set up an appointment for Wednesday. They showed up as scheduled and were able to fix the door within the service call period. They did do an up-sell that my tenant agreed to, but considering the up-sell was only $25, its hard to call it a hard sell. And, what they did will add service life to the door. So, overall, a very positive experience and would highly recommend National Door.

It was very good. They came here to my home and they looked at the garage and everything and showed me what they had and what I was willing to buy from my home premises. I was able to make my selection and with the information that they provided, I selected the styles and so forth I wanted on the site, he gave me a bid at that time and I compared it to the other one and I went with him. He offered a good quality product. I am loving it. There is a warranty with the motor of the garage door.

Required new garage door after accident.  Quick and professional response.  Was the only company that would have had the replacement panel.  We chose to go with new garage doors.  Doors were installed with no issues and look great.
