Their quality was mediocre. The price was in thousands because it was a big job. They didn't pass inspection but the inspector could have been a bit of a pain. Their implementation what the inspector wanted wasn't really as per code. They had to do connections of the house which were coming loose and they came out to fix that. I had another problem with the connection in the circuit breaker box that was loose and I had to have the power company come out to help with that. I got much higher quote from another company so their price was good.

Started early Spring of 2008. By August 2008 Mr. Electric had replaced "master electrician" on job three times. The last one cut down our kitchen ceiling without cause or approval, leaving 3' of blown-in insulation on the floor. He then left the site and left us a voicemail to clean up the mess before he would come back. We had to get a HazMat team to clean up and move to a hotel due to dangerous dust and debris. The job was so poorly done that the City of Redmond inspector used 5 pages to write up the violations and problems. Mr. Electric left open kitchen outlets that were not GFI protected, exposed wiring with HOT ground wires, fire hazard wiring in attic. They interrupted electrical to our estate gate, our yard lights. We smelled hot wiring and lights inside home would go out if we tried to plug in a vacuum cleaner. It is a miracle a family member did not get seriously hurt or killed as a result of the dangerous wiring Mr. Electric left us with. As of APRIL 2009 Mr. Electric had still not completed the job or made plans to close the Electric Permit with City of Redmond. We had to bring in a seperate company - Linder Electric of Redmond - to resolve all of the dangerous and sloppy work. Linder was EXCELLENT - but it took two full weeks to fix the problems Mr. Electric causes.
Response from MR ELECTRIC SEATTLE
"Only Kernels of truth exist in the member’s statement above. Unfortunately and in all fairness the kernel of truth clearly has become overgrown. Facts the member is leaving out: 1: She acted as her own general contractor, as a busy professional doing a full remodel these two hats simply cannot be worn together at the same time without prior experience. 2: The Home Depot and all associated contractors for the member have given her over $90,000 dollars in FREE work to address her concerns. Effectively giving her a new kitchen for free. 3: The kernel noted above which has been omitted, is the trading of a boat. A boat she sold to an employee to entice the employee to perform side work. Clearly an ethics violation the employee was terminated and (to my knowledge did not come back to perform the side work she engaged him to perform) 4: The result is a simply unreasonable, unfair backlash to all involved by the member. 5: She Paid nothing for work performed…… as an amicable settlement to the matter. 6: It is wholly unfair for this grudge or frustration to continue, we hope she enjoys her FREE kitchen and can only hope this remedy was sufficient. 7. SAFETY is our first priority: the inspector’s report mentioned and pictures provided show work performed by other contractor hired by the member and work unfinished by us due to lack of response from her side. Kind Regards, Robert Folgedalen PS: Personally I had (2) conversations with her both were pleasant and related to the project only, it is therefore sincerely confusing to me where the sense of rudeness came from she is referring to."

Robert was very professional and friendly. He had great suggestions for types of lighting as well as better ways than what we had thought of to light different areas of our kitchen and work spaces. He was very neat and tidy and cleaned up after himself. We have a toddler and he made sure to pick-up everything and not to leave any little pieces of wire and such that our son could potentially swallow. He was quick and got our project done within the time line he presented.
