MITCHELL ENGINEERING

Mitchell Engineering ground our project to a hault. After repeated missed deadlines and incomplete deliverables, we finally got smart and switched to a more reputable, professional firm, which cost us months of schedule. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

The work was completed in a timely manner and we were happy with the end results.  I did contact Mitchell Engineering while we were waiting just to check on the status of our project.  They were very polite, said our plans would be done the following week and they were.

Since I am designing the garage myself, I was looking for someone to just run the load calculations for the garage ridge beam, and other load-bearing structures. Mike was fast and friendly and provided just the help I needed. He produced a certified set of documents that should allow me to get my building permit (Though I haven't obtained it yet.). I rated quality a "B" because many of the documents were hand written and the writing style, while neat, was a little hard to read. However this is a minor flaw. Overall I'm very pleased with the experience.

It went well. I contacted Mike and set up an appointment. He showed up exactly at the time we agreed on. He was professional, offered suggestions, was not rushed and treated me respectfully and answered all my questions. I would definitely hire him again if I were to want to do something different in the house and needed to know if it were a doable project. I don't want to do something to cause the house to fall in!

Bend over backwards service and excellence. Most structural engineers are so slow and arrogant. This firm is the opposite.
