I would not do business with these guys. Several of their installed GFCI burnt out on a house we just purchased. They came to take a look at it and blamed it on other contractors. They went ahead and replaced them all without giving any quote or estimate. They were there for about 45 mins. Later sent me a bill for $500 which I had perceived to be warranty related work. If it was not, they should have been upfront and provided a quote so I could decide I want to work with a company who does work that fails so quickly. I would not be surprised if I find more issues with their work.

Work went fine, but the final invoice was a bit of a shock. The markup on all the materials was insane (3-5x retail). It's one thing to charge MSRP when retail is normally lower, it's another thing to price gouge after the work is completed on what should be basic materials. If you need to hire them for a project, do yourself a favor and buy the materials you can yourself.

Need an electrician who goes the extra mile? Look no further! Call Matt from Linder Electric. It is rare, especially on the plateau, to find an electrical contractor who will go above and beyond. Matt brings years of experience as an electrical contractor and backs it up with a high degree of integrity and a commitment to safety. What's more! He delivered on a very tight schedule and within my budget.

It was a complex project because Puget Sound Energy (PSE) treats businesses different than consumers. As a business (homeowners association), we "own" the power line from the transformer to the meter. So, we had to figure out how to find the right place to connect up to PSE transformers, dig a 300+ foot trench, install wires in conduit, get permits, etc. Our homeowners association hired Linder Electric who served as the general contractor for the project. The project took many months but it was caused by delays with PSE energy finding the right path for the wires and doing the engineering. B.J. Brewster was the electrician and contact for the project at Linder Electric. He did a great job helping to navigate the whole project which included digging across my front yard to install the underground conduit. The actual installation only took 3 days to dig, install conduit and pull wires, get inspections and reconnect power. The project was completed by the needed due date of the end of June 2016. There were no surprises and everything came in on budget. My neighbors are happy now since we have electrical power to our gate, irrigation system and lights. So, great job to B.J. and Linder Electric! Thanks!

The service was done promptly, when we got our bill I was completely floored by the cost.  Expecting to pay no more than $700 for such a small job.  After receiving our bill for over $1600 I got quotes from multiple other electricians and they were all floored when I told them how much I paid after receiving their bids.
It was my fault for trusting a referral and not getting bids but having had electricians come in before and roughly knowing what this should of costed I went with them.
The job was so simple yet they charged me over $900 in labor.  The job only took 4 hours, but I was also charged 2 hours for coming out to bid the job and getting the permit they needed.
I wont be using this company again and will be sure to refer my friends in another direction.

The electrician arrived on time, and reviewed the attic above the room where the fan was to be installed. He determined a cross-support device between ceiling studs needed to be installed to securely anchor the fan. He left and quickly purchased it, and returned. He installed the fan in the desired location in the ceiling, and as I requested, connected it to an existing switch that had previously been connected to a switched outlet. The fan was installed straight and works very well. The area he worked in was left neat and clean when he was done. I'm very happy with the work.

While we were out of town, they were able to come and out to hook up the heat pump. However, they accidentally hooked it up to the dryer circuit. They had to come back after we got home to fix it.

The electrician showed up the same day as the A/C guys (April 21st). He did his work and left without a word to me. I assumed everything was done. About a week later, due to some construction in the back yard, a breaker tripped and I went to panel to reset it and found a failed electrical inspection notice (dated April 22nd). I called my A/C company who contacted Linder. They eventually sent the guy back out to resolve the issues listed on the inspection notice. The work passed the 2nd inspection on May 5th--two weeks after the original work was "done." Invoices for the services arrived on May 1st and May 6th.

Our house is just three years old. During a single week, the microwave, large screen TV and a DVD player all failed. In the case of the microwave and large screen TV, internal components appear to have overheated. First step was to contact PSE to ensure the service was stable. A rep came out and inspected the installation up to the meter and found nothing amiss. He also reviewed records to identify any surges or other power irregularities in the past month. All of the PSE stuff checked out fine. My son is a residentail and commerical electrican in New Jersey. He recommended engaging a local electrican to perform a complete inspection. In order to ensure the job was done correctly he outlined a complete set of steps the local electrican should follow before making any diagnosis. Long story short, here is the net of my experience with Linder. - An electrican was dispatched within 24 hours of my call - The truck and the individual performing the inspection were immaculate - The person was polite and well prepared with comprehensive notes concerning the service requested - Before mentioning anything about what my son had told me, the person outlined the steps and possible situations he could uncover. His summary was consistent with what Michael told me. - Proceeded to spend at least 45 minutes examining and testing every circuit in the house - Informed me he could not find any issues - Told me if there were any other incidents to call immediately and Linder would dispatch an electrican at no further charge. At this point there have been no further incidents with the electric. I have researched the microwave and found the builder did not properly install the unit. Because of the height of the enclosure, no ventilation system was installed. The large screen TV can be attributed to bad luck. The DVD player came back to life. When questioned, my youngest son, age 13, admitted he "may" of turned it on and off multiple times in order to access a certain track on the DVD. So there is the story of my encounter with Linder Electric.

They were prompt and courteous. While installing transfer switch, the service man took suggestions on the location of the box, as well and worked with me on determining how to install the box and wiring to minimize the impact on the siding. He also explained a rather complicated relay arrangement for outside lighting and resolved the issues that made operation inconsistent.

The quoting process was pretty minimal, which didn't give us a "warm fuzzy", but they were well-recommended and the price beat the other quotes (just). The work itself went great. The electrician showed up on time and methodically replaced the panel, replacing wires where necessary, and put it back together neatly. He could have taken some shortcuts but did not. The lines to the outdoor outlets were done well. Code inspector looked the whole thing over and said it looked great. The guy seemed to be honestly proud of his work -- pretty rare thing anymore. Took his time and did it right.
