JUDY HUEHN

Judy has been the perfect piano teacher for our family! Primarily, she is extremely reliable and professional. Lessons start and end on time and she responds quickly when changes need to be made (e.g. rescheduling due to illness). She also has the right balance of encouraging my daughter to work hard at improving while also being very nurturing and gentle. My goal was not to try to create a piano prodigy, but to instill a lifelong love of music in my daughter. I wanted a teacher who would have high standards but not be excessively pressurized, and this is what we got, someone who listened well to our goals. This is not to say, of course, that Judy doesn't provide top-notch instruction if you are hoping that your child will go farther with piano or be more serious about music. She has strong academic credentials in music and those combined with her very good manner with kids, make her an outstanding teacher.
