Gold's Gym - Redmond

It's nice, it's good that it had a lot of amenities and I liked to go to the classes such as aerobic. There are amenities that I don't like so I give the a "C." I have a big problem on going there.

I had a very positive experience with Gold's Gym. The masseuse was very skilled. She had the perfect environment. Her environment was very relaxing. She has a variety of techniques that she offers. She can actually specialize your massage, for example therapeutic massage vs. sports massage.

.Its an ok place could be imporvoed. I will keep going there though.

I switched from another place to Gold's Gym. I don't like that they don't have a pool with a deep end, it is a flat pool. But I do like that they have a therapy pool, that they have a jacuzzi, that they have both sauna and steam rooms. I like that they have a woman's only area for exercise which is nice. I like their locker rooms and showers which are very nice, very clean and well kept. They have assistance that are there at all times. It is pretty nice gym. All the classes are included in the membership and there is no extra fee for the classes. They have a lot of classes like yoga, different aerobics. They have a lot of interesting things which I have not used, like you can go exercise in a room and watch a movie, if you want to watch, a big screen movie. They have one movie a day or something or one in the day and one in the afternoon I don't know since I don't particularly use that room. They have little monitors on the equipment like if you are on the treadmill or elliptical or something. So they have a lot of gadgetry things that is probably fun for some people. I don't use that too much. They have full, complete, weight machines, free weights and all of that, it is huge. It is a pretty new facility. It looks pretty new it is probably been there for may be 8 years. They have valet parking for free. So if it is raining or something you could drive up and they will park the car for you. I changed from the other gym because of the pool. I had been doing some physical therapy in a pool and I wanted to continue my program so this was perfect. It has hot therapy pool and lap pool. But I really had some stuff and I would have liked to have continued to do it in the deep end which they don't have. They don't have a deep pool. Price wise I find them pretty reasonable. I only pay them little over $50 a month. It is not bad especially when there is another club which I looked into which has three or four pools but is more expensive and you pay for any of the classes. Here everything is free and they also have child service which the other club did not have. Overall they are friendly, they have good customer service and it is clean. But they don't have a deep end pool and that is one thing I would change. It is lacking for me in terms of everything that I need and want in this facility. I will continue to use them.

The classes are phenomenal. They provide LesMills which is syndicated out of New Zealand. The gym is very clean and the locker room is very nice. I will continue going here in the future.

They have excellent equipment and are very professional. They have an excellent staff.

I have been their member since four years. I went to them for a short time and then I stopped going. My husband is currently using them. He has been going to them for last three years. I used to go there by myself late at night; that was the good part. It is open for late hours. They do close early on Saturday and Friday nights. It used to be open for 24 hours most of the days. I liked the fact that I could go there anytime, but I am nit sure about the closing time anymore. I had a trainer for a short time and she wasn’t great. The staff was very nice. Their billing team took the amount from my account automatically. My husband likes the weights and the machines. It is a great place to go. My husband uses the cardio equipment and the free weights. However, there is another branch of Gold’s Gym in the area which has better equipment. I would consider using them in the future.

It is a good experience. I started going to them because they are a chain and I can go to one when I travel. They are more of like a family there and the employees are there for long term.

Salima is very professional and fantastic to work with. She knows when and how far to push. She's also very supportive. Our goal is for health improvement. We have been with Gold's Gym for just under 2 years now. As long as Salima is there, we'll continue to sign up for personal training.

We were happy to find that the Gold's Gym close to home was a very nice facility. Not only did they have the early yoga class we were looking for but they also offered plenty of other classes. There's a good selection of cardio machines (treadmill, elliptical, stair climbers), weight machines, and free weights. Everyone is focused on fitness. The staff are always helpful and we love our personal trainer. We like the pools and saunas as well. With the variety of things available, we don't get bored and continue to improving and maintaining our well being.

The gym is very new and the equipment is good and varied. The cardio theater is a nice touch and they have movies they play in that area for one to view while on a cardio machine. The fitness class schedule is superior, they have an extensive and varied selection. Also, they have salt-purified pools as an alternative to chlorine. The yoga room is very small, though, and can be crowded. Also, the parking situation can get congested. The biggest obstacles to joining this gym were the price, which had a higher start-up rate and monthly fee than other gyms and the location. Also, the gym in general can get quite crowded at times. However, they do have quality equipment and one could really specialize in weight lifting, fitness classes, or spinning quite well here. Also, the salesperson was not high pressure -- a WELCOME relief from years of attending various gyms across the country.
