+ -1 moreWe worked with 3 different "designers" as each was incompetent (1 or 2 of the 3 were subsequently dismissed). They did not really care about the quality of their work and it was reflected in the poor suggestions they made as to color, placement and size of furniture and window treatments. Half the items we ordered were defective and we had to fight with them to take them back and refund our money. We did keep 4 items with which we are satisfied but dealing with them on the items that were defective was so unpleasent that we would never shop there again.
Description of Work: We went to Ethan Allen to furnish our new home (living room, office, dining room and additional pieces for a bedroom and media room) . If their service and product had been better, we would have spent an additional $30,000 or so, however, there were so many problems that we demanded refunds on our outstanding orders. We received (and then returned) couches that had manfacturing defects, waited over a year for other furnishings, had window treatments that were made improperly, rugs with defects and suffered from thier incompetent service and snobbish air.
