Cypress answered my call immediately and took the table the same day. I provided a color sample for them to match. I was given an estimated time of 3-4 weeks which I thought was optimistic. It ultimately took 7 weeks, but I wasn't in a hurry. They did a beautiful job on a piece of furniture that holds great sentimental value. They carefully maintained a bit of writing on the underside that I wanted to keep. They also did a fine job of matching my color sample. Cypress Tree is a little difficult to find in the back of an office park, but Google brought me close enough to figure out the unit numbering scheme.

They did a stellar job on refinishing the hutch. It was a fussy job and it came back just flawless. The cleaning and waxing turned out well. The cleaning and waxing also looked great. The base they made was cruder than I expected. I thought that it would be sturdier than it was. The 2 small repairs worked fine. In looking over the receipt, I just realized that they charged me to $220 to touch up the legs on the chair that they glued, but they never did the touchup work.
It took them a lot longer to do the work than they said it would. I wasn't in a hurry, though. They had me come out to choose the stain for the refinished cabinet and I was disappointed to see my other furniture covered in a thick layer of wood dust, with other items stacked on top of it. I asked them to clean it and move it away from the busy area they put it in. Everything came back undamaged, though, so I guess it looked worse than it was.
The work they did was outstanding, but the process wasn't perfect.

I contacted John at Cypress Tree and he had me drop it off at his shop. We handled everything over the phone and it was amazing what they did to this furniture. It is gorgeous!! I didn't know there were craftsman out there who did such good work. Cypress Tree was helpful in all ways, informative, timely and did excellent work.

They do wonderful work. The quality of the work is great and they are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them. I go to them if I have any antiques that I need refinished.

Cypress Tree gave me a fair estimate of the work that would be required and performed the repair on schedule and at the estimated price. I am very happy with the result. I definitely will use them again for furniture repair.

Not much to add to the above. Frankly, did not think the chair could be repaired, but they did a great job.

I was in the middle of a house remodel and things hadn't gone well with the way my new window sills had been stained and varnished. I had the stain and varnish removed by another company and then sanded and prefinished with stain and lacquer. The sills needed more work to meet my standards so I took them to Cypress Tree.
Phil was great about agreeing to work on making them look better by spraying another layer of lacquer on. They came out fantastic!
My contractor installed them and I can't believe how good they look. The lacquer made them much smoother than they originally were when they had varnish on them and they are a close enough match to the other wood in the house that most people won't be able to tell the difference.
I am very happy with the work that Cypress Tree did for me. I'd definitely would send my friends there that needed furniture refinished.

They were excellent. They got the work done in a timely manner. They worked with us on trying to match the stain color to the other furniture in our home. They did a great job and they made it look like a new piece of fine furniture.
