I chose this company from several others bc they presented as professional, eager to do good job, and the price was very competitive. All went well from installation through payment, in full, for service rendered. The work was performed 2 months ago, approximately. I was told the wood needed to "cure" so no staining could be done for "awhile"? After job completion I noticed my one of a kind handmade birdbath bowl was broken. I pointed this out and the owner said he could fix it. I've called 2-3 times in the intervening months since fence completion to see if it was time to stain and/or the birdbath was fixable/fixed. I was told birdbath bowl was fixed and it would be dropped off, but it never has been returned. I was told it was not the right time to stain d/t rainy weather. I paid over $2200 for a fence for the primary purpose of keeping the furry predators from devouring my plants, That's what I told the providers at the onset. The fence had to be reinforced in places with stiff thick wire at the bottom to make sure it was secured into the ground so nothing could squeeze under it. The man in charge knew that the bottom may need to be reinforced in other places sometime in the future. That's why they left the wire here. Recently, I've noticed many places along the bottom there are gaps, spaces, and room for small creatures to get in and destroy my plants, and the destruction has begun. I called 2 days in a row before actually speaking to the owner on the phone. My first call was not returned. I told him of the problems that had developed with the 2+ month old fence, and the urgency I felt a getting it fixed. I was told that someone would come 2 days after the day we spoke in the afternoon. Late on Thursday afternoon I received a text that due to a flat tire they could not come but would be there the next morning-first thing in the morning. After waiting till noon the the next AM, I texted that I waited all morninig but no one had showed up. At that time the owner informed me that while he was sorry for the morning, he was giving one of his men the responsibility for getting in contact with me to schedule a repair date. I have no way to contact this person, and he has chosen not to contact me. Up until now, I have been a polite, pleasant, appreciative customer. I have kept all my communications friendly, upbeat and positive. Until now, I have not criticized this provider. I felt I had hired a company that would do a good job and stand behind their work. I am sorry to say that in light of the recent developments that I have lost all faith in this company to stand behind their work and fix the problems that have developed in the intervening short 2 month period since this fence was put up. 2 months, not 2 years. There should be no question as to the responsibility of this company to get someone over to fix this deficiency in the fence, right away. At the very least, I would expect to be put on the schedule for repair even if it took a few days for someone to come. Unfortunately, this is not the case. For some unknown reason, this owner is not taking responsibility, but is passing the buck to someone else. I feel I've held up my responsibility to be a good customer, and I would expect this business to hold up it's responsibility to stand behind its work and fix the problems that have cropped up in this very short period of time. I am at a loss to understand this business owner's reticence to take care of the situation promptly since I'm fairly sure it's a very small job, probably requiring 1/2 hour of their time to accomplish. The materials are all here sitting on my walkway right where they left them 2 months ago. I am sorry I must give this service provider such a poor rating, but they have left me no choice. Had they accepted their responsibility to take care of this problem and fix it right away, it would have been different. Due to the fact they did not show up on 2 different dates, their refusal to schedule me for a real repair date, their refusal to continue communicating with me, and the owner's passing the buck to make this right down the line to someone else, I feel have no choice but to rate them as poor across the board. Their prices while competitive, mean nothing when the integrity of the job is breached in only 2 months and they don't stand behind their work. In light of these things, I feel I was overcharged for an incomplete job. In short, future customer beware.
