We called. They came out within 2 hours. They fixed the leak without damaging the new attic roof insulation by adding some metal flanging. They were efficient, timely and said to call if we had any other problems.

After another big rain storm, a week later there was less of a leak; however they came out again and secured the flanging, adding additional support. We originally bought the heavy duty cedar shake roof from them 15 years ago. We were happy then and still happy with their service. We will be using them again.

They're excellent!  They were very responsive when I had an emergency. I've never used them before and they responded faster than the roofing company that I have used before. They are always very responsive and they come quickly. They are very fairly priced. I haven't had them come over recently because everything they did has lasted. All the skylights that they put in were good and I've had no problems.

My "40 year" roof failed after 17 years resulting in multiple leaks, despite regular maintenance. The staff seemed helpful and a representative came several times to (unsuccessfully) repair the leaks.
Allied Roofing suggested I submit a Manufacturer's Warranty claim for the GAF Elk shingles, which I did. It was denied and the findings from the warranty claim suggested improper installation. Multiple roofers and the GAF’s Manufacturer’s Rep inspected my roof, found the shingles in ”good” or “above average” condition, and indicated  that the leaks were due to improper installation techniques.
My attempt at a reasonable and fair solution (replacement near or at cost) was not entertained by the owner, Mike Perry. He was rude and made false claims of neglected maintenance. Mike, as President of Allied Roofing, denied responsibility and offered only to reroof the 6 current areas of leakage, which did not address the root cause. Following that offer, another leak, in a new location, occurred.
My roof looked beautiful to the end but was of poor quality and has since been replaced at significant and premature expense. My ceilings remain stained and damaged.
I hope you learn something from my experience.

I was very impressed with the professional service they provided. My house has a cement tile roof and unfortunately, when the roof was installed, no flashing was added at the bottom edges of the roof. I noticed that rain water would not always make it into the gutters - it sometimes seeped down between the house and the gutters. Not a good situation. Allied Roofing installed flashing around the entire house so the rain always goes into the gutters. They also repaired some tiles that had been cut improperly and replaced any that were cracked or broken. They pointed out that no flashing had been installed around the furnace pipe either so they fixed that. They also replaced a huge fireplace cap after we noticed that the old one was leaking into the chimney area. Another roofing company that came out to bid on the work said there was no point in adding flashing because the whole roof needed to be replaced. Allied Roofing told me my cement tile roof should last 'a life time'. I will not hesitate to call them for any future roofing needs.

Original estimate - estimator pointed out two existing gaps in cedar shakes and repaired them straight away. Advised on quality of shingles versus asphalt/GRP equivalents and that they had access to good quality shingle. Price estimated was comparable/lower than neighbors had received for similar sized properties. Lead time on doing the roof was about six weeks out from my commitment - however eventually it was done about 12 weeks out. Variable summer weather had pushed out their work. Their one weak spot was not keeping me informed on this. On the other hand - they were very careful only to start work when the weather window was clearly long enough for completion. Actual job experience - impressive points: Honey Bucket on site for their people - I've never seen a roofer do that before. High quality shingles - as promised. Thorough tidy up from the old roof tear-off. During tear-off a falling shingle made a small hole in a sun roof. Not only did they tell me and do a temporary repair - they searched for replacement material to match the roof and did a full replacement at their expense. Their two cedar shake roofers both have over 20 years experience - and the quality of the finished roof line and fit demonstrates their care. Clearly a high quality company that uses experienced roofers to produce an excellent result

Roof needed to be replaced or redone. THese guys came in were honest and professional. They said that they could do Torch Down and make repairs to the drains and that I should not go to gutters. In less than two days they replaced our roof and repaired & replaced the wood in several locations that had dry rot. Out of all the roofing companies this was the only one that I felt treated me good during the estimating process.
