Our family has been using 24/7 Electric for all our home's electrical work for 8+ years. Igor and Victor are very experienced and talented electricians. They work efficiently and did an excellent job installing commercial grade motion sensor lights around the perimeter of our home. Over the years, we've also asked them to troubleshoot electrical issues and they've solved and fixed every single one. If you need talented electricians, you can trust Igor and Victor to fix things at a fair price.

In a nutshell, hired them to trouble shoot potential outlet problem, paid $165.14 for this. Then hired them to: "Run 30 amp dedicated circuit for dryer removing old dryer plug adding with remodel box behind dryer new plug about 20 foot run wall opening required including materials" They charged me $900 for this job. The tech verbally told me it would be 3-4 hours of work. In reality it took less then two, my bad for not making sure that was on the quote, as they didn't prorate for the shorter time. The office told me the tech quotes for the job and if the job goes over they wouldn't charge me more. When my washer/dryer was delivered yesterday, lo and behold the tech installed a range outlet. Called him, he said he would be out at 8:00am to take care of it, he showed up but didn't have the part and has to go to the warehouse....didn't he do the work and know what he needed to do the job correctly? I was also told by the office personal that they would be replacing the incorrect outlet for free...it's not free, I paid $900 for a job to be done correctly!!! Please think twice people and if you go with them get EVERYTHING the tech tells you in writing as they are the ones that set your pricing.

The electrician was knowledgeable, professional and worked quickly. I requested a follow up quote to have more work done and have not gotten a response.

They explained all of our options and did a good job. The only downside was us having to clean up all the drywall dust off our hardwood floors because they weren't completely wrapped. I will recommend and use them, again.

It all went well, high quality work, except for replacing the two switches. They put in a non-functional switch and wouldn't come fix it so I had to hire another electrician to come replace it, which of course cost a bunch more since it was a separate trip. The electrician recommended a motion sensor switch. I expressed doubt since the switch was up the stairs from the main part of the garage so it would always be off. He said well we'll try it and if it doesn't work then he'll replace it. No surprise, it didn't work. But then it was the end of the day and he said he would come back. But altho I called several times, they never returned and I had to call another electrician to come fix their error, which with the "trip fee" was expensive.

NEVER again.!!!! They upgraded the panel and they added 2 dedicated outlets. They gave a quote for the panel but then they could not get an estimate on the 2 outlets. Since they were available and I was in rush I worked with them anyway. They charged me about $2400 when 2 separate quote were about $600-$800...but since I accepted to work with them, I honored my full payment. I had more work to do, but since I was discouraged that they could not come out with a quote for the job, I told them to finish what they were doing and that I did NOT work with them anymore. I was very respectful but very clear, no more bills, no more surprise !! Somehow they sent another bill, this time $460, while there, they found another issue and they fixed (they claim). I was not aware of that, I was not asked before, and more importantly I told them NOT to do anything anymore. I refused to pay, they cannot just go around the house like it was a shopping mall and find something to fix and then expect me to pay. Their response was that they did not make much money on that fix (???) and that I needed to fix any way, so I might as well paying them for the fix. It should have been my decision, not theirs. I refused to pay, explaining my reasons. From that time every month or so they try again sending me the bill (with the past due notice by the way, even if they did not answer my 1st email of complain). The quality of their work was also terrible, the legend on the new panel is kind of random, done in rush and half of that is labelled wrong. I had 2 more electricians after them, one charged me about $300 because apparently 24/7 electric put on the wrong breakers they said, no-up-to code breakers, another spent an hour to resolve an issue that was due to a loose wire in the panel....so the panel replacement that they did was bad !!!

First off, I had a few positive experiences with them previously, hence recommended to my seller-client for the simple task. But not sure what happened in the last couple of years, but customer service quality had declined. Started out with technician being over an hour late but no one called to let the owner know. Secondly, there was no upfront communication of what the cost structure would be, i.e. $120/hr for labor, $160 for standard replacement, etc. The only cost-related information communicated was $100 flat rate for trouble-shooting, which we knew it wasn't applicable because we had written in email that it was to move a light-fixture to center above sink. After the technician arrived, per owner he was very grumpy, and was using the F-word a few times when trying to cut drywall for relocating the light. Seller was a goodie Asian Christian woman, and found that very offensive. And in the end for moving the light by 6 inches or so, the bill was over $200, which the seller felt was too much. If the labor rate was $120, and there was no parts involved, with job being about 40 mins, should have been $120 + tax. It's unfortunately that businesses in time of high construction activities they write off customer service, as if such trend will go on forever. When the down time comes which it will, home owners will be more selective and critical of who they work with.

Not so good initially, the less experienced guy they sent ran into problems matching up the fixed conduit to the new panel and made some technical mistakes. Once his boss came and saw the problems he personally came back and finished the job with excellent workmanship. I know because I have a fare amount of electrical experience. We passed the City inspection today with flying colors. If you are the type of person that gets all twisted because the job took an extra day or so then you would give them a lower rating. For me, seeing them 'make everything right' with no complaints and no fuss was great. And they stuck to their bid, $2,100 plus tax. Thank you Igor!

Technicians showed up on time and worked efficiently. They were very polite and patient with my unpreparedness and they prepped as much as they could while I went out for the hardware. They cleaned up after their work and left the space just as it was when they arrived.

The safety report indicated several things that needed to be done. A subsequent proposal from 24/7 Electrical & Plumbing to do that work was well over $1000. I ended up dealing with another "A" rated electrical contractor. He checked out each of the items listed in the safety report and found that many of them were not accurate. For example, several of the outlets that were identified as not GFCI protected were in fact GFCI protected; the electrical panel which was said to need to be replaced in the next couple of years was up to code and would not need to be replaced. I was very disappointed with 24/7 Electrical & Plumbing.
Response from 24/7 Electrical Company
"Dear [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your feedback it is much appreciated. I believe the pricing we provided you was for the items you were considering to replace not because they absolutely have to be but because we wanted to give you an idea of the costs. Your panel is pretty old and we did recommend replacing it in the near future to avoid problems. As for the outlets, I am not sure if this was a misunderstanding but I did check with the technician and he confirmed that the outlets he pointed out do in fact need to be GFCI protected and they weren't at the time of the inspection. I hope that even though we had misunderstandings your electrical is now working well and best of luck. Alex M. Office Manager 24/7 Electric & Plumbing"

I explained the problem to Andrei on a new GFI I installed and how that and the other plugs weren't working. I originally thought I bought a defective GFI. He took a look at the wiring and quickly saw I had done it incorrectly. He rewired the GFI and got it to reset and the other outlets in the kitchen worked. I asked him also to look at a timer for our house ventilation that he kindly helped me reset.

The service was okay. They were more expensive than the quoted amount, but it was a small project, so the Dollar amount was not too much. I tried explaining to them so they had all the equipment that they need, but when they came, they didn't have the ladder, and I have a very tall ceiling.  They were fine, but nothing stands out. They also had to reschedule the appointment on the day of.

I called 24/7 on a Thursday and they said someone should arrive w/in the hour.  In 10 minutes the doorbell rang.  Igor was professional and cheery.  He identified the problem as a broken circuit from a single outlet and restored power to our kitchen outlets in 10 minutes.  He also gave me a quick estimate on a transfer switch for my generator when I told him we were going to bid the project.  His price is right inline w/ what research I've found on installing transfer switch kits.  Igor is a VERY nice guy and we'd call 24/7 if we have other problems.
