I paid $4500 cash up front to Steven Michael Smathers partner of Rannie Thompson and RT Excavating to order concrete blocks for retaining wall. Took my money and never started the job. I've been trying to find him and can't get my money back. Steven and his partner Rannie are crooks. Be careful. If you know of their where about. contact or location please email [email protected]

Repeatedly did not show for scheduled work. Did not even call to say he wasn't going to show up. Would not answer phone. In error I trusted him and paid up front in full. I now have no recourse to get him to complete work. In writing he stated work would be completed by June 12. It is now Aug 14th

Beware- He starts nice.. takes money.. and then never shows up. complete scammer. Stay away at any cost. He is also a bully, starts polite.. the minute he gets money - he changes completely. He came twice to give me estimate, gave a decent estimate. Promised a lot of things, started work with his machines and then came his constant nagging for money. extracted cash and then NEVER showed up and responded. Left 6 large dumps of trash on job site.. such a mistake i went with him.
