The Yard Guy

Description of Work: We hired Chris to pour concrete in our backyard. You might recognize our outdoor planter box in some if his advertising fliers. We recently requested a face to face meeting to talk about some quality concerns we had for a job we hired The Yard Guy for; Chris had requested we follow up with him in the Spring.. He hired subcontractors to pour and stain the concret in our backyard. The subcontractor put a hole in our irragation system while framing for the concrete, this was unknown until the concrete cured and we turned our watering system back on. About a week after water begun gushing from the side of the concrete pad. We immediately contacted Chris with video. He sent a subcontractor out to fix the leak and see if additional work was needed. They capped the old line and ran a new one. August 2016 The subcontractor said the area under the concrete needed to be refilled or we were at a high risk of developing a crack in the concrete. Chris was very distant about fixing the ground to prevent a crack. By October 2016 we had a crack and again notified Chris with photos. He requested we wait til Spring to fix the issue. Now that it is Spring Chris says my issue is with the subcontractors not him I paid him in full. This payment in full was at his request saying he would not leave me hanging but he was over budget and could use the money. I had prevously corrected his accounting 3 times in His favor i thought we had equal respect. The subcontractors will not call me back. The stain is very uneven; I was told this would be fixed; subcontractor said he did the best he could but the concret was not acid washed. Chris had said he would make sure it was washed 1st; along with a dip in the concret that always!! Has a puddle in it right in the middle of the backyard walkway.

Description of Work: Their machinery tore up my yard when I mentioned it to them they said it would be a next a charge for them to push mow. I said I would pay it then I caught them still using their industrial equipment. When I called the owner out on it he was very rude. I asked to be let out of my contract and he said not without a fee. So I continued to pay them and when they came again they only mowed half my yard and forgot the other half. The owner claims to be hometown and gives the best service and it was the absolute worst service ever! When I expressed all of my concerns to the owner he did not care. Their equipment literally tore up my yard and I would have to go out and fix it.

Description of Work: He maintains my lawn.

Description of Work: I used The Yard Guy for a complete fall clean-up of leaves and to trim some shrubs. I live on over an acre of land.
