Tyler from Taylor heating and AC was the best. It was a hot Saturday (mid 90 degrees) and he crawled up into a 115 degree F attic to help resolve our AC. Not only did he identify the problem, he also fixed the issue for us on the spot so we could have AC during this heatwave—all while working under immensely hot conditions. I’d give a 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

Needed a general maintenance service and inspection of our furnace/heat pump prior to sale of our house. Fairly short notice and our normal HVAC company couldn’t schedule us in time so we called Taylor Heating based on a referral. They had availability and scheduled us well within the needed time. Jonah was the tech and did a great job with the service and testing, explaining everything he was doing and what all the results meant. We have some HVAC work upcoming at our new house and I will be having Taylor Heating come out a give an estimate.

Do not use this company. In no mention in the conversations withthe dispatcher was a $160.00 fee was discussed. I called several electrical companies and they disclosed upfront the dispatch fee. From Free diagnosis to $80.00 Taylor Electric came and simply pushed a button and charged me $160.00 I feel ripped off. At least reduce the price if you've done nothing. Never again Taylor. You guys need to disclose up front. Not a good company

Be honest... not just take customer money with false or no diagnoses. I called Taylor's asking for diagnostic of my furnace not reaching room temperature. They asked how old my furnace was? I stated 20 years. They quickly told me they could have a service technician come first thing in the morning for $60 and take a look at my issues. First red flag, the other 2 HVAC companies I contacted were a minimum of a week before they could get an available appointment and wanted $150 to diagnose issues. I believe the reason Taylor's had an immediate available technician and only want $60 is because he was not a real technician just a salesman... When the salesman arrived in the morning, he stated he was at his 3rd appointment for the day. Second red flag how can you truly diagnose HVAC issues that quickly? He confirmed with me, "you stated that your furnace is taking a long time to reach room temperature and that your furnace is 20 years old is this correct", I answered yes. He proceeded to tell me that a good working furnace will run within a certain range of amps, then he pulled the cover off, hooked his clamp amp meter to a power wire and showed me that my furnace was below the threshold of amps, and my furnace is getting old and tired... This is the reason my furnace is running in-efficiently and taking so long to reach room temperate. When I pressed him for the failure part, he proceeded to tell me my heat exchanger was bad and needed replaced, although they could replace just the heat exchanger it would be best to replace the whole furnace since I had reached the standard working life of 20 years and it would be close to the same cost to just replace the furnace with a new more efficient model than just put a new heat exchanger in a 20-year-old unit. Then came the 10-minute sales pitch to replace my furnace and if I wanted this would be a good time to add central air conditioning, and since my water heater is also 20 years old if I bundle all three together, he could give me a really good deal. I declined the A/C since it only gets really hot a few weeks out of the summer and our window unit does just fine, I also said my hot water heater is working just fine and when I start to have issues, I will replace it myself. Then I proceed to tell him I would give it some thought of what I want to do about my furnace. He took my $60 for a 1 minute diagnose and 10-minute consultation on replacing my furnace. I don't know about other HVAC companies, but I would avoid Taylor's. I believe if they were truly an upright honest company the conversation would have been more like this. (customer) Hi, I needed to have my furnace diagnosed for slow to reach room temperature. (Taylor's) Ok, we can do that. How old is your furnace? 20 years old. Ok, we have two options for you. We can definitely have a technician come out and diagnose the problem for $XXX reasonable amount of $$$. OR we are honest upright company we are looking after your best interest we want to earn your business with honest and quality work. Your furnace has reached the standard useable life of 20 years and more than likely because of this your furnace is tired, wearing out and running in-efficiently hence the reason it is taking so long to reach room temperature in your home. We can have a salesman out first thing in the morning for a free 10-minute consultation on the cost to have your furnace replaced for a new efficient model. Even if we find certain parts worn out in your 20-year-old furnace it would be our recommendation to just replace the whole furnace for a new more efficient unit than to put new parts in an old unit that could potentially continue to have issues due to its age. What would you like to do? If your honest up front with customers, you will more than likely earn every HVAC replacement because you have their best interest at heart. You did not have mine, hence I replaced my furnace myself. It's not that hard if you have basic DIY skills like replacing a hot water heater or dishwasher or installing a gas stove you can replace a furnace. Avoid Taylor’s they just want your money…

Our furnace went out before Christmas - and we had issues with a home warranty service and calling around I found Taylor and from the first call they were so helpful and unlike other companies had been they were not dismissive of my questions and helped get me a service call the next day Donny showed up on time, got the right questions and diagnosed the issue right away , and won me as a customer with his pressure switch test! - he was very direct and honest about the situation and spent time explaining the damaged parts , he advised replacing the system due to age and future costs. I needed time to consider and follow up , not only did they respond for a new quotes , he followed up with me and was not pushy and was very concerned about getting my family heat for the cold - and thanks to Donny & Taylor's site for PSE energy loan we decided to replace the entire system. The Install team lead by Camryn Showed up IN THE SNOW right after Christmas and installed the entire new HVAC system (AC/Heat) and were professional and seemed to enjoy what they were doing even as it was freezing - and everything looks great and were On Time and got done fast but nothing looked rushed that I can see and we are enjoying the new system and already talked to others about this install already Can not say enough nice things about the Taylor Team and people working for them. They won our business

Taylor Heating and A/C appear well on their website representing themself as fair prices, exceptional products, and superior customer service. I have to say that they are exactly the opposite of what they claim from my own experience. And here are the reasons why. Regarding their claiming fair prices, exceptional products; DON'T' BELIEVE THEM. It's not fair prices, nor exceptional products. It's an average product with a high price. I had trouble with AC during the summer and needed AC repair. I had three estimates and decided to go for one more Taylor Heating & A/C. I called and let them know that I already got a few estimates and would like to have another one. The diagnostic fee was $59 plus tax. Their estimation was $8,745.54 to replace. I accepted the bid. However, they misled me with the A/C product. I came to find out that they were going to install the A/C without a heat pump. I could have replaced this A/C unit without a heat pump for $6,605.99 which I already had an estimation for. Regarding their claim about superior customer service: THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. There isn't a superior customer service. I called them to let them know that I am disappointed and feel misled, and would like to cancel the service. The sales person said that they were willing to offer me an A/C unit with a heat pump at the same price. They were going to charge me $8,745.54 for what I could have spent $6,605.99. I told him that I feel I was misled to accept the bid and they have lost my trust so that I would like to cancel the service. Then his voice turned stern and said "I am going to charge you 15% of the cancellation fee." I told him that they misled me with the information and I should have every right to cancel the service. He said "well I am sorry but we still have to charge you 15% cancellation fee" He emailed me a minute later our phone conversation with an invoice of $1,311.83 for cancellation fee. I canceled 7 days prior to the service day. I am going to seek legal advice and fight them. I don't feel I am obligated to pay this amount I will keep you posted for those who are interested to know the result so that you can make a better decision about choosing a company for your Heating and A/C you can trust.

The employees of this company truly care. I received exceptional service from my initial point of contact to then scheduling with Debbie and ultimately having Donny do the diagnostic and explain what was wrong, pricing to fix and short term workarounds so to make my home more comfortable while replacement parts were on order.

Oil heater installation

It went well. He figured out what was wrong and fixed it. He was very personable, had a great sense of humor and was good at his job.

A little Rocky at times for scheduling. But day of went quickly, finished early. Didn't verify everything working though, stove and a heater had issues. Came back next day, were faulty breakers. All good after 5 minutes additional minutes next morning.

They set the time to come but didn't show up and I called them but call rep. said, she doesn't know where the technician is. They were not professional and didn't keep the promise at all.

They came out and checked on heater, we bought a new one and scheduled a installation. They were here on time and everything went fine, the new heater is working out and they were very professional. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent transaction. Technician Nick was friendly and efficient. He called prior to arriving and showed up early in the expected window of arrival. He explained the issue that came up during his inspection/tune-up and reported that everything else was A-OK. They were currently having a service special making them the least expensive of three quotes. Will definitely contact them again next year.

It was excellent. The communication was good, they coordinated prior to the time of arrival. They cleaned up after work. Very quick service. I called one day and the next day they came. The price was decent and the lowest I got.

in this time and age most businesses keep their prices in line with each other. what makes Taylor stand out is their promptness on providing appointments and answering All my questions. but the most important thing is their service technicians. Mines name was Camryn, he was on time and was just a nice person, he explained what he was doing at each step and was very skilled in doing his job. If in future I need any work done I will be sure to call Taylor and ask for Camryn.

The guys showed up exactly on time and were ready to go. They serviced my furnace and found some debris in my ducts and cleared that out. They were fast, personable, and thorough. Will definitely hire them again.
