Concrete Repair
Sia is a really nice fellow and his crew are nice and punctual, and joyful which is awesome. I think they would do a nice job on driveways and flat surfaces. I would not recommend them for bigger jobs and nothing that attaches to your home, unless they learned from our not very good experience which is possible. They poured new stairs all the way to the front street, and a new front porch. Initially, all looked ok, some untidy sides on the stairs but whatever, but when the rain came, it seems that they had sloped much of the porch towards the house, not away, (which is really "101" of concrete next the house, as we learned later) so we ended up with a big leak into our basement and lots of repair to be done. We have to re-do plaster and lathe and new walls/Ceiling in basement, as well as find a fix for the front porch through another provider. Sia was sympathetic to the issues, and apologetic, which we appreciate, but the solutions he had to fix the problem were not correct, or in keeping with the original work. Frankly, the whole porch really needed to be redone correctly, or a very tricky matching skim coat applied which we are not confident he can do. We have had to go outside to try to find a solution. If he wasn't such a nice person, honestly, I would give him a lower score, but I don't want to hurt his business on "regular" --not complicated jobs as I'm sure he's good. We can't say honestly, we've had a great experience, but if you have flat surfaces or driveways or sidewalks I'm sure he would be just fine.

Concrete Repair
It took us over 10 years to do this huge project. I am glad with all decision I've made. It's hard to pick a good contractor but I did good this time on choosing Step Up Concrete and Construction as my contractor. We did have some problem with the design and the finishing time. But they were very patience, especially Tony; listened to our concerns, understood exactly what we wanted and tried very hard to please us. I now have an amazing back yard that I will enjoy for many years to come. Thanks Tony (we love you and your personality), Sia (i will kick your butt when I see you), Lilly (i love your name, and he is a big guy with a huge smile), and one more cute guy that I forgot his name. They are such a great team.

Concrete Repair
We had 4 different contractors bid for a teardown and rebuild of fairly large entry stairs to our condominium building. We are very happy that we decided to go with Step Up Concrete. The finished product is exactly what we asked for, and it was completed within budget and ahead of schedule. Everyone in the building is extremely satisfied. We will most certainly consider Step Up Concrete Construction as our first choice for any future projects.
