It went perfectly. The technician was very resourceful, and set us up with an elegant solution that uses all our existing wiring. We loved his can-do attitude. Using his tall ladder, he did not need to walk on the roof at all. He neatly installed the antenna and removed the old one, leaving the old base intact to maintain the integrity of the roof. He was very informative about the newest technology and made recommendations to improve our situation - such as installing a splitter to allow us 4 additional TV's in the house. After going round and round with DirecTV for years - literally - and spending countless hours on the phone with their 'customer service', South Hill Satellite did this for us within 24 hours of calling. We are thrilled and will recommend this company to everyone we know!

I submitted an email form through South Hill Satellite's web site asking for a comparison quote. They responded promptly (on a weekend) by calling my home. At first I was put off by the call because I had been expecting an auto-response quote via email, but once I realized how much there was to discuss, I understood that phone was a much better choice.
Cindy from SHS explained options to me and patiently answered my many questions over multiple phone calls - what about this provider, or that one? How can I get the premium channel I want without spending too much money? Can my husband still watch Canadian hockey? Should I bundle it with my home internet?
When I finally decided what I wanted (on Sunday), Cindy had the installers out to our house that Tuesday. The installers arrived early within the window of time we had been told and were professional, courteous, and informative. We are very pleased with the service we received from SHS and with our DirecTV service so far (3 months in).

Customer service up front was great. Explained all my options and even helped through some customization between having a residence here and a cabin there and getting the right channels for over in Cle Elum. We needed to have this installed on a weekend and they guaranteed they could do it and would call on their drive over from Puyallup to Cle Elum. Install was on time and our installer actually called before they showed up at 7 am on a Saturday just like they committed. He went through all our install options and helped us pick the right location after taking our future additions into consideration. After the install he took the right amount of time to explain to my wife (not tech savvy) all the options and how to work everything. Couldn't be happier with their total service and would highly recommend them to anyone that's looking for Satellite Service.
