I do not recommend using this inspector. He has poor attention to detail and does not take care of his customers. He missed some very obvious details about specific things we asked about. We asked him multiple times about the condition of the roof for a house that we made an offer on as we did not want to pay an extra $15,000 shortly after buying a house. After about the 3rd or 4th time, he finally got back to us and said that it is in good condition for its age and should last us at least 10 years. A month after the inspection, we moved in and discovered that there were two different leaks in our roof. After having 5 roofers come out to inspect it, all of them were in agreement that the roof was terribly installed and that the whole thing should be replaced because it is not the shingles that were in poor condition. It was the planks underneath the shingles that were causing the problems and the roofers were all boggled as to how this inspector could have missed such obvious signs in the attic. After talking with Scott (the owner) about this issue, rather than admitting his incorrect diagnosis, he went on to say that the roof was in good condition when he did the inspection, then magically over a matter of weeks, the condition became very poor due to the wind, rain and snow. All the roofers agreed that this is not possible for this to happen so quickly, regardless of the weather conditions. Scott’s suggestion for this problem was for us to pay for a patch job even though the entire roof was terrible condition and other leaks could easily begin at any moment. He ended everything by continuing to be in denial and ignoring my emails. On our inspection report, he also said that our water heater is electric, when it very clearly says on the side of it “Gas water heater.” Save yourself the potential nightmare that we are going through and go with someone else.

We needed a home inspection ASAP.  Scott was able to get right out, and inspect this large home located in the Lakemont area of Bellevue.  Scott is very knowledgeable.  He had lots of great suggestions, and helped point out things the buyer will need to know in the future about routine maintenance.  We could not have been happier.  Scott provided lots of photos and a complete report, and had answers when we called back a few days later.  Scott does a great job, has a great attitude, and is a really nice person too.  I would recommend Scott to anyone needing a home inspection.
