Servpro of Puyallup / Sumner

Not good took them 3 weeks and not a single thing was done..they keep on delaying and extended the job while my insurance was paying them..I fired them and hired 24/7 flood and fire they came and scope the job site and didn’t understand why Servpro took 3 weeks for a 1 week job.. I don’t recommend this company to anyone.

The work was done promptly and with good humor. The team, Mimi, Bobbi, Angi, Kris, Lana and Joanne were wonderful to work with and a lot of fun.

First they came out to determine where the damage was & then a team came out, pulled up the floor & cabinets where the water had leaked & put up heat fans to dry it all out. I never would have thought about under the cabinets so I'm glad I had them check. I did have them put things back together because I decided to redo the whole kitchen since I was going to have to get all new floors.

My ins co sent out Servpro after our toilet overflowed while we were gone 12 hours. Josh called me within 10 minutes of my ins co contacting them. My husband And I were not able to be there when he came out so he was very patient with dealing with us over the phone even though we are hard to reach. He explained very thoroughly what they needed to be done and answered all our questions completly. They did a great job of removing damaged drywall, carpet pad, subfloor and insulation. The smell was gone the first day they came out. It took 4 days total for the dry out. The only small issue we had was we arranged for my dad to come daily to let them in to check the progress ( he lives 40 miles away). One day they did not show up or call. He called and spoke with Josh who was very professional and made sure the rest of the time they were tree and on time. When we had contractors come out for the repair estimates several of them commented on the good job Servpro did.

We had a fire and called ServPro because of their advertisements.   They did the following things correctly: They came in reasonably quickly after we called They started the demo work quickly They did the following things wrong: The misidentified the extent of the smoke damage They missed much of the water damage It took months for our clothes to come back They damaged electrical They incorrectly gutted the bathroom They damaged the sheetrock in adjacent rooms They did not know how to seal the entire house from smoke smell They proposed doing substandard work without permits as required by code They greatly underestimated the cost of the job (All other competent contractors had bids that were at least twice the cost including tens of thousands of dollars of work that ServPro was planning on covering up) They tried to cheat us by installing substandard replacement items (fixtures etc.) and when I started auditing what they were planning on installing they walked off the job. Over all it seems that ServPro was working for our insurance company to do a cover up job that would have left the house smelling like smoke and a hazard to live in.  Their final shot to hurt our family is after walking off the job they faxed a phony low ball bid that they would not even honor to my insurance company which caused us major hassle when the real bids for the real repairs came in from the other professional contractors.   I would NEVER recommend ServPro. It is really sad that a company that supposedly specializes in fire restoration really seems on specializing on taking advantage of people who are in a very stressful and difficult situation.   It ended up that my insurance company had to pay twice for this job and I was left with out of pocket expenses and and the insurance company would not pay to repair the sheetrock that ServPro damaged.
