My agent (CB Bain) provided a list of inspectors that they had experience with. I really wanted to find some independent verification from Angie's List and Safety First was the only one I could find a review on. That review was solid so I went with them.
I really appreciated how responsive they were. From patiently answering my questions and queries prior to the inspection to their flexibility to do the inspection on a Saturday. When I got to the house they were parked and waiting for me. We walked through the house and they asked me to point out specific areas that I was concerned about so that they could incorporate that into their normal inspection. Bruce and Glenn then split up and one does the outside while the other is inside. They walked me through and specifically pointed out anything they found. I also appreciated the comments they added as we looked at things. I came away with a clear sense as to which items were deficiencies and which were real issues. Total inspection time for a 3700 sq ft house was 3 hours.
