After deliberating between four companies, we decided to go local and chose Royal Cabinets. After many discussions with our designer, Julian, we were satisfied with the design and gave the go ahead for construction and installation which was scheduled for the 21st of Nov., 2016. The Wed. before scheduled install, we were called and told machinery had broken down and order wouldn't be complete until day after scheduled install. The designer was told that that was unacceptable as we had counter tops being measured and if we had to reschedule, it would be weeks not days until they could come again. (We were not going to be without kitchen sink & water for another 3 weeks). Designer called the next day and said they would be working over the weekend to get the job done and installers would be there as scheduled. The installation started out good, but mistakes were made that lead to frustration and at the end of the day, the mistakes were not fixed and the installation was not complete. Photos were taken of mistakes and uninstalled pieces. Designer was called and informed of these problems. Over the next 3+ weeks, our kitchen install was completed but not before many trips by others to fix what was not done or done wrong. Not only did it take many trips by others, but they often came lacking proper tools and materials. (One major mistake needed to be corrected by the designer, which he did, but when he came to our house, he was really sick and again, lacked all materials needed to complete the job). This all could have been avoided had our designer promptly come to our house to assess what needed to be done (instead of relying on phone calls) and then to prioritize a schedule to complete the job in one return trip instead of many. None of the corrections that were needed would have prevented us from using our kitchen so we could have waited for one trip to complete instead of many. Our designer did do a good job measuring our space. The foot print was not changing and appliances were not moving, so extra care had to be taken so that all doors and drawers opened without impeding other opening components. Overall, we are satisfied with our cabinets and the over all look we were after. We were, however, not satisfied with the lack of response by the owner. He never returned our direct request to speak with him, nor did he respond to requests made by others. We were also told he would be at our house on 3 different occasions, but we've never seen him or heard from him. We paid half down to get started with the remainder due upon completed installation. Final payment was made about 6 weeks after the start of the installation but not until even the smallest detail was taken care of to our satisfaction and our concerns about the process, lack of organization and timeliness was discussed in person with our designer. We would very cautiously recommend, but do not accept anything less than what you expect. (We expect installers to have enough pride in their work that they would install as if they were installing in their own home.)

I have waited to give my review since it takes a long time to say that their quality is outstanding. It has been 10 years and my cabinets still look like they did when they were installed. I took photos right after the installation and I can say that Royal Cabinets makes a high quality product that will not fade or change over time. at the time I thought they were costly. but not anymore. they also provided some great advise on the glass doors for the plates and cups as well as how to better utilize the space in the corners and when to use roll out drawers. If they still have the same team, then go with them. 2 thumbs up. I can provide photos if needed.

Royal Cabinets did an excellent job. We had a pre-existing cabinet that we wanted our new cabinets to match. Royal Cabinets not only did a great match with the wood, but our new cabinets turned out beautiful. Very high quality.

As above went perfect from design to install...hickory looks great.

Justin came out and measured since the sewn room cabinet was complex. We decided on rustic hickory to match the rest of the house. He used solid wood. I paid the extra 200 for installation.

I originally contacted Royal Cabinets in February of this year. They quickly responded and came out for a consultation, took measurements and we discussed my needs. They gave me a verbal quote at the time however, did not complete a written quote and I did not hear from them again. A month ago I contacted them again and Deb apologized profusely for not completing a written quote. Deb came back out, completed another consultation and we had a discussion on exactly what I wanted and needed. I explained I had a budget and wasn't looking for anything custom or ornate. She completed an estimate within a week and we met at the show room so we could review the estimate in detail and discuss options. I was excited to see what she had designed and immediately signed a contract. I'm pleased to say the cabinets were installed yesterday and I was BLOWN AWAY at the final product. The cabinets/bookcases exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier. 

Debra (the designer) was great to work with - Both she and the contractor worked together with us on the redesign of our kitchen. They addressed all of our questions and concerns in both the design and the remodel schedule and also provided suggestions to make the final design more efficient. We went through a number of iterations of the design and layout of the cabinets but Debra worked with us and we are very happy with the results. The work was done professionally and on time.







When we were placing all the items into our new cabinets we discovered that we needed more shelves in some of the cabinets. Debra ordered them and delivered them to us - no additional cost. One of the pull-outs we had didn't close properly and  the owner, Dan, came out to fix it and ended up replacing the slides.



 



 







 



 



 



 



 



 



 



 



 



 

Royal called the a few days before to ask if it was ok to move the install date out 1 day as they had problems with the job before me.  I said no problem as long as we stayed on schedule for the counter top installers.

They delivered the cabinets on time. The installers arrived on time too. They did a nice job. I would highly recommend them.  Nice quality work.

They were truly custom built cabinets to the exact specifications needed. They also undercut the prices of Lowe's Home Depot. The cabinets are solid, hard quality, with no pressboard.

Went very well and my wife was very pleased with the results.

We had 2 very dear friends who worked with Royal Cabinets and RAVED about their work so we didn't look any further and were VERY glad we did!!  From beginning to end (as Dan would say, you can make ANY changes so long as it's still on paper)Dan was professional, helpful and really knows his work.

Having never undertaken anything of this scope we found his ideas helpful and appreciated him working with a couple custom ideas of our own.  They were very easy to work with and the lines of communication were totally open which I found reassuring.

The project was completed with the installation of the granite by ORCA Granite & Stone (who often work with Royal and share a showroom) on December 23.  We noticed a couple of things that needed tweaking but waited until 1/2 to contact Dan and he was back this morning to take care of them.  Adjustments aside I would HIGHLY recommend Royal Cabinets (and HAVE!!)to ANYONE that is contemplating a remodel!

Along with the Kitchen, they also gave us a bid on 2 vanities for our bathroom which we had done at the same time and are very pleased with!!

We needed custom cabinets to replace and replicate cabinets destroyed due to water damage. Royal Cabinets was able to match the exact specification of the old cabinets and beat the insurance estimators price. They met their time estimate exactly and we love the cabinets. We did not use the company for install.

Went wonderful,We got many bids, beat everyone!We have 3 full baths,big laundry room and huge kitchen.We thought we might have to down grade the cabinets in baths and laundry due to cost. Royals bid was for all plywood soft close doors and drawers Royals bid beat out several other bids with downgraded cabinets. The only problem was one shelf was not level, owner of Royal came out and fixed it in minutes!The really neat thing they do is stain shelves and inside cabinets to match the outside,looks awesome! We will use them again,will be needing some bookshelves!

He was responsive in the initial contact, he came out and helped design the wall unit.  I got a quote from another company and liked their design better.  They were able to re-create the design and install it. They installed the cabinets on time, worked with the granite people to make sure the granite was on time.  They installed it and they did a great job. He was professional, on time, and had great customer service.  They had a good price.  We were very happy with them.

From the design team to the installers, working with Royal Cabinets was a pleasure and we would recommend them to any homeowner or business looking for an excellent quality product with great service.  I give the people at Royal my highest recommendation.

This was a great experience.  Dan from Royal Cabinets met with us to help us form our ideas- then drew a sketch that we approved.  He had some great ideas about door front, toe kick, varied height of cabinets to really make the room!  Everything was ready when promised- beautifully crafted- and installed with precision.
Everyone at Royal Cabinets is great to work with- the price was great- and the quality is excellent.

We got bids from several companies, and selected Royal because they were the most professional, most responsive, and because they were local and thus stood behind their product. Royal's was not the cheapest bid we received, but we feel with got a superior product and exceptional customer service from them.

We met the represenative at one of the local home shows. We were drawn to the company because they were locally owned. We requested a quote based on drawings put together by an architect. Compared to three other companies in western wa, Royal had the lowest bid with the best quality cabinets (plywood vs. particle board which the other companies spec'd for a higher price, soft close drawers and cabinets were extra with other companies). After we decided to use them, the owner and sales rep came to our house and offered suggestions on how we could improve our kitchen layout. This consultation was provided at no extra cost. We worked primarily with the sales rep Jason who seemed to be learning the ropes and was not quite as responsive as I would have liked (responding to phone calls greater than a week later or following through on when he said design drawings would be provided). However, whenever we spoke directly with the owner Dan, service was excellent (knowledgable, confident, timely and correct). After placing the cabinet order, the cabinets arrived on time (actually early). There was a miscommunication on the delivery date and the cabinets were delivered on the original date (two days earlier than the agreed upon delivery date). Clearly the installers were frustrated. However, when they delivered and installed the cabinets there was no residual frustration. The installation crew was fantastic. They installed our cabinets in two days and they look fantastic. The installers came back several weeks later to make final adjustments and install our hardware. The crew took precautions to avoid damage to our house as they brought the cabinets into the house and staged them for installation. They were focused on completing the job and had the equipment necessary to complete the job.

DAN DIDN'T ARGUE WITH US ON THE CONDITION OF THE CABINETS. JUST SAID THAT HE AGREED THAT THE STAIN AND INSTALLATION WAS DONE WRONG AND HE WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT.
