Puyallup 911 Driving School

We have had both of our boys attend this school in 2010 and 2011.  With limited hours, class size and drive times available you have to really be on top of it to get them thru it.  Plus lots of time sitting in a parking lot waiting for them to complete drives since the driving location was not close to home.  Its a shame high schools don't teach this any more.  I found the Puyallup location cumbersome to work with.  Each time we were ready to take the drive test we found that our knowledge test was either missing a sticker back in 2010 or had not been entered into the DOL system in 2013.  This was after the school had been notified that we were attempting to complete the drive test.  Recently when I attempted to contact the school on two occasions they just run an answering machine during business hours.  I left a message and waited for over an hour each time before calling back.  After finally reaching someone they indicated that the message had been received and they had not been able to respond yet.  Plus, fair warning for parents, if you do not put in enough driving time before your teenager starts the class and they make a mistake while driving, you could be subjected to a fifteen minute lecture from one of the officers as I was in 2011.  I am so glad both kids have their license and I no longer have to deal with a business that reminds me of the DOL.
If I would have known about Puget Sound Safety where we recently completed a drive test I would have taken them to that school.  They don't just do motorcycle training.  They had four people answering phones, a receptionist who sounded older than 14, and a very friendly examiner.  Plus you don't have to deal with downtown traffic or limited parking.
