Roger Merrell came to my house to do a 203K Feasibility Inspection for a possible rehab loan. The inspection is the first stage in a process in which the inspector becomes the consultant, for HUD, overseeing all stages of a major home remodel with HUD money. His inspection was brief; he delivered my inspection report a week later than he said he would; when asked why he was so late in delivering the report he said: "I hit the wall and took a break from life;" and when I later tried to follow up with him to get some questions answered, leaving him two voice mails and sending him two emails, over the course of two weeks, I got no reply.
