Lonnie's Curb-A-Lawn

Lonnie charged us $8000 to replace the lawn which lead us to believe the job would be done professionally. A man came to our door a week before the lawn was scheduled to be replaced saying they are tearing out the lawn, nothing from Lonnie. The tore out the lawn and slapped down the sod and left. No one came back to roll the new lawn for weeks (only after many calls form me). They also sheared off the sprinkler heads and wanted $200 to replace them.

Lonnie came to give an estimate the same day I called him. I wanted to get rock put down around 2 sides of my house as nothing would grow there and it was always muddy. He recommended we put down the rock with weed barrier and put cement curbs to hold it in. This was the best solution as it will last a very long time versus a wooden barrier that would need replacing every so often. Also the cement barrier is curved and looks more pleasing than using wood. He really knows his business and does excellent work and is a very nice person to work with. The work began the day after the estimate and was finished in 2 days. We are very pleased with the outcome Thanks Lonnie!

My experience went fine. They were prompt on giving us the estimate.

Mr. Myler and his crew worked in an efficient, professional manner. He had a landscaper's vision of the way the driveway should appear, and made it happen. In addition to the driveway design itself he added some landscaping touches that further enhanced its appearance and the appearance of our front yard.

Two problems were discovered after completion of the project. Mr. Myler did not return my calls requesting him to correct them. The problems were created by him and/or an employee; neither was part of the driveway, but changed my feelings about contracting with him again.

Lonnie was prompt in returning my call and being at me home for our appraisal appointment. He gave me ideas in regard to landscape problems and provided a great solution to one issue about our cherry tree root that would interfere with the curbing. He was prompt on the day of installation and work within the time alloted for them to accomplish both yards and did a very nice job in regards to looks and flow.

Estimate was given in a timely manner and price was very reasonable. I did not get additional estimates as I had already had my lawn area outlined by another company the previous year and it had cost much more. My neighbor had used Lonnie's and was very happy with the service and final product so I decided to use them. Work was done within a day of the estimate and they were very professional. Overall the curbing looked great, but there were minor flaws in several areas that I noticed a few days after the work was done. I did not notify Lonnie's because the concrete had already hardened.

Went great. Within 3 hours of our initial call to ask for an estimate Lonnie was here to do just that. The price was so surprisingly inexpensive for the job we wanted so we scheduled the work. We scheduled for the next week. Went to work and when we came home the work was beautifully done. Lonnie did not ask for payment in full until we inspected the work he did. Very impressed and will recommend him.

Lonnie and his crew stuck with a 1/2 dozen reschedules while the rain worked itself out. It became a running joke but finally the rain broke and Lonnie was able to come out and get the work done. Turned out fantastic. He listened to what we wanted to accomplish, had some great ideas on how to improve further, and in the end we ended up with something better than we had orginally envisioned.
