Kanish and his team at Legends Roofing have replaced two roofs for us in the past. Kanish is responsive, helped with the insurance needs, and is very complete with his estimate and scope of work to be completed. He answered all questions and returned calls promptly. He made a great recommendation to help insulate the roof resulting in our electric/gas bills being significantly lower. Kanish is honest and offers suggestions which are best for the client. He is more concerned about quality work and having happy clients who will call him for advice or help in the future than making money ( that has been my experience). I cannot say enough about Kanish and his company Legends Roofing. He's a contractor with integrity and someone I will continue to do business with.

Great experience. Very responsive. Performance was timely, and quality. Clean up was complete. I waited a few months before making this review to evaluate workmanship. I am very pleased with outcome.

What stood out was how quick they were. They did the whole roof in one day and it's a 2,050 square foot house. There was one section of the roof that they did where they kind of broke the wood on the under the roof line. They broke that section and they didn't do anything about it. When the boss came by after the job was done, I showed that to him. He had another guy come out a week later and he completely took care of it. They did it to our complete satisfaction. They were very good except for that minor thing but the roof looks wonderful. The pricing was good. They were the one of the cheaper ones. I picked three roofers. I had all three come out and give me a quote. He was actually the lowest quote. The work that they did looks very good.

We had two issues. The roof had pulled up by the fireplace vent and water was leaking past a water diverter by the front of the garage. I called Legend Roofing as they had installed the original roof in 2013 when the home was new. They do repairs on a time and materials basis. I authorized their charges, $75 an hour with a 2 hour minimum plus materials. They were scheduling 7-10 days out. A roofer was out the next day. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and explained the situation. He said that the builder had installed the vent after the roof and not nailed it down so he nailed the vent down and installed new roofing that matched the original. It looks just like new. He installed a larger water diverter and tested it with a hose to make sure it diverted the water. It hasn’t rained yet so we’ll see if it works during the first heavy rain. We followed up two weeks later on the bill and were told that there was no charge per the estimator.

From the estimate through completion, everyone at Legend's roofing was very professional.  Glen Paine was our main contact and he was exceedingly patient and helpful as we worked through the process of choosing the roofing material and color.  Once that was done, we were put on the schedule, and the job itself took 4 full days.  Throughout, the crew was clearly experienced and worked very well together.  Everyone knew their role, and it was exciting to watch the job progress from day to day.  The only issue was that the weather was exceedingly hot that week, and on a couple of days, the crew had to be pulled off the roof for safety purposes.  However, as soon as it was cool enough, everyone was back working on the roof including the crew supervisor.  
Everyone from Legends was respectful, knowledgeable and friendly.  Our HOA limits the hours for outside construction noise, and Legends worked within that constraint.  As the roof was torn off, they protected the landscaping, plants and the side of the house.  Each night before they went home, all construction debris was cleaned up including sweeping for nails.  This is the second time we've used Legends as they put a roof on our old home, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.  The roof looks beautiful, thanks to their professionalism and expertise.

Once I called them to come out, Glen was out in a couple of days for an estimate.  He emailed me the estimate within a day.  Their bid was about $4k less than others.  I was not worried since two of my friends had referred them and they are extremely picky when dealing with contractors.
Glen gave an estimated time of 4-6 weeks since it was going into the summer.  At the 4 week point I called and asked for a hard date.  He would not give one.  I reminded him of the 4-6 week time frame and that we would like to plan for the install.  It took a few more calls and they finally had an opening and got it done.  
They did the entire job in a day and cleaned up after themselves.  The workers were professional.  There was a bad dye lot in one of the packages that was installed and they promptly came out and fixed it.
It was really a mixed bag.  The price and work was excellent,.  I did have problems with the responsiveness on calls.  They would call back but it may be 4-5 days later.
We are very happy with the job and would recommend them if you don't mind delays.
I did learn that they do not respond to Angie's List emails so if you want to get ahold of them, you will need to call.

I would highly recommend Legends roofing and my second choice would be Brazil (if you saw his roof you would know he did the job right). No further work was needed on the roof.

Fast; timely; professional; recommended and worked effectively with allied contractors; prices were not discounted buy were completely reasonable and competitive; additional requests for work were met with immediate (positive) action(s); a pleasure to work-with; were in and out in one day.

After what seemed like endless rain, a crew was out the first clear day. It took two days to complete the re-roofing and was very impressed with how hard these guys worked. They started at 8am and worked until 8pm. Other than an hour for lunch, they worked non-stop on a 90 degree day with NO goofing off. On the third day, a supervisor came out to inspect the job and take care of a few odds and ends such as caulking between the shingles and flashing. Overall, the roof looks great and I'm satisfied they've taken care of anything that could cause a problem down the road.

Quote was far below others I received. Workers completed the job very fast. The owner Glen originally came out to do the bid and he was very detailed in his measurements and spent quite a bit of time inspecting the roof to get an accurate quote. Other contractors barely came out and didn't measure or sketch. Legends did several other roofs in my neighborhood and the reason is simple...they do quality work with a reasonable budget. I did have a few minor issues with the skylights, but Glen was quick to respond and sent someone out the next day to alleviate the problem. Great experience and I would highly recommend.

Legends crew did a good job overall, arriving when scheduled and staying with it until done. Areas of plywood rot were repaired, siding was trimmed where needed to correctly apply flashing, and several return visits were needed to complete skylight installation. The job took longer than estimated, but Legends stayed with it through completion and it looks nice. Cleanup was thorough and the crew was professional and polite. Only glitch was the subsequent need to properly connect the exhaust fans to the new roof vents - I've learned that's something to pay attention to in any roofing job.

The two workers were quiet and cleaned up every day.

Originally I got four bids last summer to reroof my home for between $6000 and $10,000. Since it took so long for my home to be resided and painted I decided to wait for this summer to reroof. In the meantime I constructed a shop behind my home and it needed a roof also. I was told by my builder that he has used Legends roofing several times and was very happy with the results. I called them out and was given a bid of $3500 to complete the shop roof. Installation was done in one day and looks great. All the edges were evenly trimmed and nothing looked out of place. Cleanup was also excellent. Was so impressed I scheduled them to come back and do the house which they did for $6500 including tear off of the old roof, adding a ridge vent, and reflashing. Again work was done to my satisfaction (and I've been told I'm picky).

These guys did a great job. When there turned out to be more layers of shingles than they had thought, they just charged me for the cost of the additional dump fees and ate the additional labor costs. I've had no issues in the intervening 2 years since the work. I'd certainly use them again.

I did not have any negative experience with them during the quote. They did a good job and made sure to follow up. I would still consider them in the future.

I live in CA and inherited my parent's home in Seattle. I was lucky that my neighbor had researched roofers for her home and recommended this company. I got to meet Dave Hegrenes while he was at her house, so I asked him to give me a bid on my house across the street. When my dad died in Sept of '08, I hired a licensed home inspector to do a thorough inspection to see what needed to be repaired or replaced. The inspector told me that the roof could probably last another 5 years, and that's exactly what Dave said to me. That impressed me as he could have said it was mandatory to do it immediately. Since I am going to rent out the house, I wanted to just go ahead and do the roof while the house is not occupied. So I came to town a few days after the roof was completed and am very happy with it! I needed a skylight replaced since it had been leaking, so Dave said no problem and for an extra $200, they replaced it too. I was very happy working with Dave and would highly recommend Legends Roofing.

Given prior lousy experience, I was trepedatious, but I was immediately reassured by their clean contract commitments and when work started by the teams professionalism.

They were safety conscious, timely, efficient, and the only roofers I have ever seen that were this professional. They did not leave a mess. D
