Huntaka Communication LLC

In September, 2012 we returned back home after being stationed in the gulf region for the past 10 years. We hired Huntaka Communication to replace an old concrete patio in our backyard. The contractor promised to finish the job in 4-5 days, which was the same amount of time mentioned by other bidding contractors. We signed with Huntaka (represented by their VP/Dan) who thanked us for our family's military service, seemed very professional, knowledgeable and "really needed the job to keep their guys employed". A month after the start of the project, the patio was still not done, actually every single term in the contract was broken and now we are left with a massive concrete disaster sitting in our backyard which has varying thicknesses, massive cracks due to improperly placing the rebar and no expansion joints whatsoever, and worst of all slopes TOWARDS the house! We took the contractor to court and they did not even have the audacity to show up and defend their case. Huntaka Communication LLC license has been suspended and so now they started a new company under the name of Huntaka General Contracting. Beware of this company and its affiliates so you don't end up losing your money and have to pay additional amounts to get rid of the damages they leave you with. Today we have a verdict in our favor and are trying in vain to locate these Con Artists to recuperate our money but all seems to be in vain.
