DXS GRANITE

Installers scratch the hardwood floors becuase they didn't cover then and dragged the box with the old counter top on the floors causing deep scratches. The counter top seem has chips and is the two seams are not even. Owner is very poor communicator and does not respond to issues. Submitted this company to the BBB.

Although "Roberto" the tile guy was hard to get with his other committments, he was well worth the short wait.  We wanted to use leftover tile from an upstairs shower job and DXS Granite was able to order more of it as well as helped us order shampoo boxes.  Roberto helped us figure out a way to get a corner seat installed and "Shauna" picked out some beautiful marble to cover the seat and compliment the rest of the tile.  Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful job.

A toilet leak led to replacing with the floor with tile which led to the tub surround which led to a new vanity & counter top.  I'm not real good at making choices and "Shauna" helped me pick out tile, glass mosaic, and granite to complete our bathroom renovation.  We love the shampoo box that "Roberto" created for us.  The tile behind the toilet helps in bathroom clean up after little boys.  :0)  Love it, love it.

We went to their show room and they were very patient and helpful in showing us different cabinets and granite choices.
They came out and measured our kitchen. We had an odd corner that didn't fit any "normal" cabinets so their installation guy custom fit a cabinet for us.  They installed all the cabinets and the granite. It turned an old mother in-law apartment kitchen into a top notch high-end apartment kitchen.

.Overall it was great. They were nice.

DXS' installer Langston arrived on Wednesday as promised and removed the old counter top and installed the new one in a little under an hour. While he was doing that, his helper was removing and "regrouting" some damaged areas in my kitchen. DXS had installed granite counter tops in my kitchen a few years ago. Several areas of the seam material had cracked and come out of the seams between the slabs. They did this repair work for free. They also did it with a material color that was a much better choice color wise. These guys were great!

Difficultly getting a firm installation date. The company changed the installation date at least twice. The installers failed to follow DXS stated policy to cover the customers floors. As they removed the old tile off the counters the installers threw the old tile in a 3'X3'X4' cardboard box. They pulled the box around on the hardwood floors putting scratches on the floor. There were swirl scratches all over the floor along with deeper gouges in several areas. The initial seam between two granite pieces was substandard. Calls to the company most often went to voice mail with no return call, requiring us to continue to call. When we finally made contact we ask the owner Mr Meacham to visit our home to inspect the work and only after numerous request did he come. After that visit he sent the installer back to fix the granite seam, it took two attempts to get it fixed. Mr Meacham agreed to repair our scratched floors when he was in our home, but failed to follow through. We failed a complaint with the BBB of Washington. The company simply said the floor damage was not theirs and they would no assist with the repairs. The BBB closed the case as unresolved. Before using this company we recommend checking DXS Granites rating with the BBB, it is currently an F.

Fairly well, kind of a newer business but beautiful selection of granite and very reasonably priced. Follow up on some detail work was postponed several times with no call for reason which is the only negative comment I would make. The installer, Gabriel, was very courteous and professional.
