Cougar Construction & Roofing

I was very impressed with the work Cougar Construction provided while replacing our existing roof. The attention to detail was evident in every phase of the process. From the removal of the old roof to the installation of the new roof nothing was overlooked. I also appreciated the knowledge and professionalism of the owner, Don, when he came out to give us the initial estimate and consultation for replacing our roof. I would highly recommend them. Great work great price.

It was obvious to me from the start of the project the team provided by Cougar Construction was highly experienced, professional, and efficient. It was a pleasure to watch it come together.

It was excellent. Initially, when I called them they got back to us in a timely manner. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. Everything was done timely. They kept us up to date. They cleaned up after themselves. No mess was left behind. Their prices were fair. I referred them to my neighbor and to my son-in-law.

At initial contact a meeting was scheduled within a day or two. As I talked to Don on the GAF system, Jared was on the roof taking measurements. Within 2 days I had a written bid. I spent the next week gathering other bids and figuring out what I really wanted. I talked to them several times to clarify and make adjustments to the bid which I received the same day or next. At the same time I had 2other GAF certified bids that I had changed so all 3 contractors were bidding on the exact same roof. Cougar Construction and Roofing was by far the best and I got "good" feelings about Don and Jared. At bid acceptance work was scheduled approximately 30 days later. They week before I was contacted and told the schedule would slip by a few days. By the end of that week it was confirmed that materials would be delivered Tuesday and work would begin on Wednesday. On Wednesday a 4 person crew arrived just before 8 am and Don and Jared at 8 am. They reviewed requirements for the roof and work began. The crew was totally awesome!! The teamwork was totally amazing, it was like 1 guy with 8 arms. It was a fluid ballet that was amazing to watch. The roof was done at 7 pm and they spent the next 30 minutes cleaning up the yard including 4 passes around the house and yard by each crew member. I have only found a couple staples in really odd places since. I have already recommend Cougar Construction and Roofing to 4 other people and need to get more business cards to pass out. I absolutely recommend them for a roof!!

Cougar Construction removed all the rot and moisture ants that resulted from a previous contractors work, which did not permanently repair and solve a water penetration problem between two apartment units on the roof/siding/gutter adjoinments.
  Water had been seeping in from a roof/siding issue for years, unbeknownst to me, as I thought the previous contractor knew what he was doing to solve this condition.  Wrong.
   Cougar designed a different (and permanent) system to keep the area watertight, and direct any water away from the areas.
   Don Webster had a Master Carpenter, and a Master Carpenters Apprentice on my job, and they did craftmanship vs work; it was superbly rebuilt. I was told this situation will never return, or they will come back and fix it. After seeing the design, and the craftsmanship, they will not be back.
   I have recommended them to our Property Manager, Rochelle Bobin with Sagan Property Management, for any work with roofing and/or construction without hesitation.
