This has been a challenging relationship. Initially there were misunderstanding in the information I provided. The initial tax return was filed on time, but there were errors made by both of us. My dad and I provided additional information and tried to clarify information for some of the errors. The 1st revised form continued to have errors. The most recent revision (#2) was recently review by a CPA and continues to be inaccurate.

I provided my phone number on 04/17/15 through Angie's List messaging. I sent another message on 04/23/15 asking what number they would be contacting me from and giving them information on when my deadline was. I still have yet to hear back from them since their message from "Jay" on 04/15/15. I am hoping to hear back from them within the next day or two and will be looking into other options in the meanwhile.

Description of Work: They prepared an amended return to reflect the sale of a house. I did not give an A for quality because Benitz and Assoc. did not thoroughly review my initial return where I had miscalculated the tax due. My fault, but a closer review would have revealed that.

It went very well indeed. My trusteeship was validated, the trust was successfully closed, taxes were properly paid, and accurate distributions to all beneficiaries were executed.
Description of Work: The latest use of this accounting firm was to finalize and close, and produce the correct IRS filings for an inheritance trust. Due to multiple errors by other accountants, this was a multi-faceted problem, involving multiple beneficiaries who have a history of strong feelings and some distrust. After Ms Benitz and her staff provided not only the tax forms, but also the methodology, it was forwarded to a trustee of the mirror-image trust to this one, and the other trustee (an accountant, himself) admitted he had been wrong in his original methods.

my taxes were so screwed up. I went through a legal separation and had several judgments levied against me. They took all my paperwork, and within a week they were done, and the price was excellent. I will have them do my taxes next year for sure
