I insisted that Shawna McVay see the house to appraise the cleaning time required. She toured the house and established a price to clean same. (It was dirty, and I made that very clear. I was also very clear on the services to be performed.)
She did show up to clean at the specified date, however her performance was appalling:
Windows - contracted to be cleaned inside - weren't even touched
Carpet - contracted to be thoroughly vacuumed. She said her vacuum broke, so she did not perform this service, despite the fact that I'd paid for it.
Stove/oven - only cleaned on the top. Oven was not touched, drip tray below burners not cleaned.
Overcharge!!! - Shawna charged 25% above and beyond the agreed-upon price, despite not doing the job she had bid on.
I was charged hundreds of dollars for cleaning by the landlord due to her totally unacceptable, shoddy performance.
