Arness Inc Septic Pumping

they pumped septic and spent extra time trying to unclog one of my sewer lines. Will have to get ahold of a rotor-rooter type service. But he was patient, knowledgible, committed to solving the problem.

They were excellent.

Knowing that a new riser was to be installed at the house I was selling, I wanted the service man to take a quick look at a boggy spot in my new yard. I called Arness' office and spoke to Patty. She offered to send someone out to my new house right away. Arness is located in the next town. I said no, I didn't want to pay for a service call. I said that Frank will be at my old house in a few days to install a new riser so when he does that, ask him to stop by my new house - one mile away - and just take a quick look at a wet spot in my yard. She said, sure, we will take care of you. A few days later Frank installed the new riser at the old house and then stopped by my new house for a " quick" look...and I do mean "quick". He was there for about 60 seconds, said, "yep, you've got a problem" and left. A few days later, I received a bill for the riser AND a bill for the "service call". I paid the bill for the riser but not the service call, and called the office to correct their mistake. Patty wasn't there so I left a message with the bookkeeper. Later, I got a message from the owner saying that Patty never said that I wouldn't be charged for the service call. So I called Patty the next day and she said, "well I never said the words 'we won't charge you'". I said you might not have said those exact words but I told you I didn't want Frank to make a special trip because I didn't want to pay for a service call and you led me to believe I would not be charged. I suspect she lied to her boss so as not to get in trouble. I did an Internet search and discovered that someone else had posted a complaint of a similar nature. I DO need a new septic system but Arness will NOT get the job!
