Dishonest. Rude. Disorganized. Use with extreme caution and get everything in writing. That's the short version; details are below. Made an appointment 2 weeks ago, specifying it had to be on a Wednesday before the 22nd (due to an impending trip), and after 12 noon. I was given an appointment on Wednesday October 18, 2017. They asked what time after 12, and I said, "Is 1 pm okay?" They said yes, and we confirmed the date and time twice while on the phone. I was quoted $150 to install the tonneau cover and that it would take about an hour to complete. I showed up at 12:55 on 10/18 and the old guy at the desk was already in a bad mood when I walked in with my husband. I said who I was and what we were there for, and the man grumbled about having me on the schedule at 8am. I laughed (and so did my husband) and I said, "There's no way I'd make an appointment for 8 am. I work nights and don't even go to bed until 4 or 5 am." The man sneered at me, then repeated that he had it down for 8 am. I repeated myself, and my husband piped up, too. Absolutely zero chance I'd ever make an appointment for that time--I'd have been asleep! We shrug this off, and I fill out the form. As I'm doing so, I asked how long it would take. The man said "All day." I looked up at him and said, "That's not what I was told two weeks ago. They said 1 hour." He rolled his eyes and gave a huge sigh, like I was wasting his precious time with all my questions and demand for truth. He looked at his book and said "It says 8 am, 2 hours." So, was it 1 hour, 2 hours, or "all day"? You would think the story would end here. But it doesn't. We leave the truck with the promise of "about 2 hours", and we head to lunch nearby. I had my phone in my lap the entire time, waiting for a call to come get the truck. Time passes, no call, so we call my son to come get us. At this point we think Wiley's is really going to drag this out all day, even after stating a 1 hour estimate on the phone and a 2 hour one in person. We decide we'll just deal with it when the time comes. It's now about 2.5 hours since drop off and we walk in the door. Wiley's had just called and left a message with my daughter. I call them back, and this is where the story gets truly evil. The grumpy old guy is suddenly cheerful while he says, "We weren't able to find anyone able to do your truck today. Just no guys available at all. I called around a few places for you and someone can get you in tomorrow..." I hung up. So, not only did we waste the time of 3 people today driving back and forth (me, my husband, and my son), but we wasted all that gas for 3 vehicles, including my giant gas-guzzling truck. And we didn't even end up with the service I had an appointment for! To top it all off, we didn't even get an apology from Wiley's. WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Sadly, I can't even rate them on their body work, because after 3 hours they still hadn't even touched my truck! BEWARE--this is one shady operation.
